Oh! And one of the high-life songs, my father used to listen to it over the radio on then Radio Nigeria. We didn't understand the Ghanaian language, so we just made it up. "Ahyeeee Umunna kperewuse"
I’ll travel the world to see you and dance this in person 🪘 💃🏻 💫💫 every part of my being loved this music so much! I’d love to know the meaning of the lyrics. THANK YOU!!!

Me: *has met Kakatsitsi numerous times* Also Me: *got a marriage proposal from a member of Kakatsitsi* Me 3: I want to snog Okoe Amarte-Fio again because he made my infertile self feel comfortable for the first and only time. Me 4: Yeah, I'm infertile, and not by choice (my body made the choice for me). Me 5: I hope that Okoe is still part of the band because he is awesome (and I want to snog him again in front of a bonfire that everybody is sitting around). And that is a compliment, as I love Okoe with all of my heart, and I want to see you guys and HIM again (and get some more embracing photos with him).

Can you please name the types of drums being used. I'm in the Bahamas and our national music is called Junkanoo. I'm trying to find the true history of the sound and the purpose for it's place in our culture. Any information would help. Thank you in advance!
Hello. Thanks for your beatufull drums playing. I'm learning the Djembe drum. I would like to know the names of other drums, the one with piece of wood to tune the skin I suppose. Is that Kpanlogo ? Thank you

How to listen to drumming is by slowly savoring it. Don't rush it. Just slowly sip and savor.
No need to rush and no need to show off ! The music speaks for itself.

They are called Kpanlogo drums I believe. The one on the right is a djembe and the big ones on the left I'm not sure.
Hello. Thanks for your beatufull drums playing. I'm learning the Djembe drum. I would like to know the names of other drums, the one with piece of wood to tune the skin I suppose. Is that Kpanlogo ? Thank you
Yes, the drums with the pegs to tune are indeed Kpanlogos
