I’m so sad I wanted to love it!
But I wanted it for a bright lemon summer fragrance and it dried down too vanilla heavy on me. The lemon was short lived. It could be a me problem because it smells like bourbon vanilla in the dry down which I’m sensitive to sometimes

Ooh so many be it was lychee that smelled like pineapple in the opening to me. And yea it’s the bourbon vanilla killing it for me. Too heavy for summer (on me) especially since the vanilla comes through after only a few mins

This isn’t annoying at all btw! You gave a great review even if you don’t have the full bottle. Lately I’ve been buying discovery kits from Sephora or small travel sizes because even though we can shop till we drop, it’s just smarter to try a fragrance before buying it. I love blind buying but mostly when they are very discounted and affordable. If I have to buy it at retail price, then I definitely need to try it out first. 💕

@@AmandaCocoCabana Exactly. I usually go to Sephora and go on a sniffing party 😂 especially with new releases since they aren’t discounted yet.
@@AmyGlam we are STILL locked down so that’s not an option. shoppers if the closest I get but it doesn’t have as much as Sephora.... and they keep them locked up so you have to ask someone to spray whatever you want to smell it’s so annoying lol they give you side eye the entire time 🤣
@@AmandaCocoCabana They recently opened up here and let people spray on test strips so I felt like a free bird! 😩😂 I hated to ask more than a couple of times because then I felt like I was bothering. 😆
You are very right about the vanilla.. someone on fragantica posted the correct notes and there is bourbon vanilla in the base. I felt the same way when I only saw three notes, I thought to myself.. there is no way it’s only those three notes.
🥺 that’s unfortunate that it didn’t work out for you, but I totally get What you mean because some fragrances make me feel that way too. Our skin plays such a major role on how a fragrance turns out. 💕
I don’t mind the notes and you know I love vanilla but it’s just not what I wanted/expected. And bourbon vanilla (on me) sometimes is nauseating especially mixed with the florals in this it was too much. Especially for heat.
@@AmandaCocoCabana wow that’s crazy... it’s been working in the heat really good for me 😂 I hope it doesn’t change on me because it’s happened to me before. 🤞🏼 I have been a little more tolerate with florals lately so maybe that helps.
@@AmyGlam I’m still sensitive 🤣 but it’s more so bourbon vanilla like in “a la folie” it makes me nauseous sometimes I don’t know why I love all other vanilla
New subscriber here and I adore your style. I would recommend the Rosa Verde by Valentino, as it is the juiciest, most wearable and fruity (I detect some green apple) lemon zest I have ever tried. Keep glowing! x

Girl, I didn’t know that being annoyed about not seeing a bottle in a video was a thing! 1st world problems lol. Review as many samples as you want, no need to buy a whole bottle if you don’t even like/love it. I hope you do more of these in the future! 💜

Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue Italian Zest! It is discontinued but I was still able to buy it on fragrance net and ebay. Side note: not a fan of Light Blue but the lemon is so dominant in the Italian Zest flanker and I absolutely love it!

I know a lot of people do! I can barely handle it in winter never mind summer 🤣 sometimes I don’t mind bourbon vanilla but I’m def sensitive to it. And in this case it was a no especially for summer
I don't mind you not having the bottle at all! I sprayed this on a tester strip and really liked it. Next time I'm going to spray my wrist. I'd sprayed too many that day and had no room left! I'd be in trouble if I lived across from that store! YIKES! Congrats on 5K✨
I hardly ever test them because they keep them locked up so you have to go ask someone to come and spray it for you and I feel like such an inconvenience 🙄

@@AmandaCocoCabana I'm just personally glad that you have both the paper and it was sprayed on your skin (and not just reviewing from the paper alone as fragrances can smell differently on the skin). I wouldn't mind if you obtained a sample for reviews, it's better than you buying a bottle and not liking the scent

Just tried this today at Shoppers. I find this scent come off of my skin like some vintage-y scent. Strong, and almost cologne-y musky. Maybe one would classify it as sophisticated strong floral? Maybe it's just my body chemistry, I couldn't pick out any fruit, vanilla, or lemon at all. The way it mixes with my body chemistry, to me it smells like something unisex, or leaning more male.
I bought it at Dillard's about 2 months ago.tried lots of new frags an this stuck out the most so I bought it
If you like lemon you should try Lanvin's A Girl in Capri, it's nice and lemony with a woody base, beautiful bottle, great name, and the best atomizer in my collection. It's harder to find in Canada but it's relatively inexpensive on Fragrancenet. :)
I have a small 30ml bottle. Nice heavy bottle and heavy lid. It is lovely I need to order another big one this time.

I recently watched a TH-cam perfume reviewer named Maria Collett who posted “Mood Boosting Perfumes/ Invigorating, Uplifting and Happy Fragrances 2021.” She talked about a lemon perfume called Donna/ Trussardi. It sounds yummy and amazing! 🍋 ❤️

Donna Trussardi is a beautiful citrus based scent which is lovely and it’s inexpensive and the bottle is stunning. You should try it.

I love this perfume! I got citrus for maybe 10 minutes of wear then got a musky sexy rose! Really love this fragrance for any occasion!
maybe give CK IN2U a try...it is lemony and very refreshing. But not aquatic.
This sounds like the same I get by the la nuit Tresor NUDE. it is heavy to me, not for summer in my optionen. Maybe it is the 'rose' in it, too.
Some scents that come out around summer I don’t find wearable for summer 😂 it’s strange. I think a lot of people will like this but it’s the bourbon vanilla that makes it too heavy on me and makes me nauseous. Especially mixed with flowers 🤣
For me is better than the first born in roma cus that one is too sweet . I hate sweets

This perfume dries down to Libre edp in my opinion
I can understand it’s heavy like libre but it’s different to me. Because this one has something reminiscent of bourbon vanilla which is very thick and on me cloying
