2:20 fun fact about the Ingenuity, it originally was planned to only have 5 flights on mars. by the end of its mission it completed 72 flights. I'd say it was very successful.

So as someone with a hyperfixation on planes, birdstrikes are one of the worst things that could happen during takeoff, aside from an engine fire obviously, not deadly, but enough to warrant having to land. Most engines can handle small birds but when a birdstrike happens, and the bird involved is on the bigger side like seagulls, it literally rips apart the engine from the inside. So it's completely understandable to ground the plane, just like any other plane, following a birdstrike, because it's very likely to have damaged it enough to where it's not safe to fly

That's how precisely built those things are most major companies (at least in the UK) have a tolerance (meaning how much can be left on/cut off) of 5 microns. This is literally a machine that could split hair and it got *crumpled*.

6:11 Shown in this image is a ship, which has collided with a part of the spillway structure of a hydroelectric power plant, in this case the dam is located on a flowing river. These dams normally have a system called a „Lock“ installed. Said system allows ship traffic to safely change between the different water levels on both sides of the dam. In this case, the difference between the water levels isn’t very large, since the dam is located on a flowing river and artificially changing the water level in the reservoir (the area upstream from the dam) isn’t easily possible. The exact part the ship has collided with appears to be a gate of the spillway structure. These Gates allow for safe and controlled discharge of water from the reservoir. The boat in the image likely got pulled onto the gate, because it was opened, which can create quite dangerous conditions directly upstream from the gate, because the force of flowing water pulls a lot of things towards the gate. In this case the ship was pulled towards the likely opened gate, and collided with it. The part, which the ship rammed into, is the (or one of the) moving part(s) of the gate. It allows for a controlled flow of water through the spillway structure.

Used to be a website called 11foot8 and it was dedicated to a traffic camera pointed at an overpass with 11 feet and 8 inches of clearance. Most big rig trailers fall between 12'10" and 14'3" oh and most drive thru locations are clearenced at 9' so when driving your Bubba truck don't risk it and walk in 44's have you almost halfway there. Max bumper height in my state is 38" and fender flares are required when a dime held to the fender when dropped hits the tread not the sidewall.

4:55 more importantly, the machine surfaces are probably not oriented correctly anymore.
So the spindle may not be straight, turret may not be moving parallel to the spindle axis, if the spindle axis is off, then the wall tools won't cut properly...
Small sounding thing, but it is massively important if you actually want the part to be anywhere approaching "close enough," let alone accurate. The working surfaces are precision ground to run smoothly and with proper orientation, and are probably MORE expensive than any of the electronics to make.

6:35 we fry the turkey every year in my family
    In the garage
Propane burner over a massive vat of oil will NOT result in a lot of fumes
Only reasons I can think of this happening:
    1. Tried to put the turkey in frozen (not that difficult from ice in the deep fryer)
    2. Burner tipped over and lit something actually flammable
    3. Garage door was shut

3:40 Splatoon explores this! It takes place 12,000 years after mammals died out, but there are human remnants everywhere! One of the characters, Marina, claims that you can just find human bones while digging casually in your backyard, and, coolest of all, there is an in-universe hyper talented musical prodigy child who, at 15, takes old human records and mixes up their words and voices to create vocals for the songs of the band he is in! There's more than that, but that's the stuff I wanted to disguss here.
    Neat stuff.

If the trees are in a flooded area too long they will die. The roots of the trees need oxygen for proper respiration. Only certain plants can grow in flooded areas because they have developed ways to intake oxygen in different ways. Example would be the rice plant taking in oxygen above the water line which is why rice seedlings are grown in flooded fields.
