I used that pedal for years man n I mean years maybe purchased it around 2006 or 2008 somewhere around there along time ago. It’s a great pedal it stayed on my board till 10/04/2023 when it was finally dethroned by a Demonfx D7k ultra. But let me tell you that boss pedal was king and fought off many challengers over the years I have mad respect for it. I usually take my pedals down to the Santa Monica pier and throw them off the end of it when they break or I find something better to rust in peace in a salt watery grave, but this one is special and deserves to be buried in my backyard where I bury my pets it served me well, long live the king great pedal no question but the king is dead . (If anyone has scuba gear theirs a grave yard dead center at the end of the pier as far as a man can throw away, it contains a Ibanez weeping demon wah, a boss CS3 compressor, a boss octave 2 , a Dunlop crybaby 105q wah , a boss metal zone 2 , a donner tuner , a boss flange and a Behringer reverb 600 . Some work just got replaced and some are broken )
One thing I’ve liked the odb3 for in the past is to use the bass knob to thicken up my sound. It has a very solid foundation. Not using the od really just using as a preamp kind of.
Yep, sounds best with the high on 0. Takes away the angry bees
sounds very Nirvana
I love this pedal so much. Was the first bass pedal i got and ive tried many others since but have always gone back to this one
I like to play my guitars through this pedal
Sounds like doom/sludge/stoner metal at the right settings
