Going 8-4 would in fact be a success. Tech hasn’t won 8 regular season games in 15 years (FIFTEEN!) plus if you win a bowl game you get 9 wins. That’s a positive step
Anyone remember the infamous “Comebacks” from the Leach years as well? We always knew we had the talent and ability. Usually ranked Nationally as well.

I have not always been happy with Kittley… but I do check myself and try to remember that the grass isn’t always greener. Honestly, if McGuire is happy with the job he’s doing I’ll trust him to make that call. I hope he and the rest of the team stays, and somehow we improve up front
The loss in Ft Worth, and record after going 5-1 to begin the year, has some fans feeling like this season has been a big let down. I understand the mindset that we haven’t won eight games in over a decade, but every team still having a realistic shot at going to Dallas, are new teams to the conference. Not good Kinne got an extension to his contract
Really disappointed on this record, TT had the team to be really good this year, they had the wr., te., running back and a good decent qb to had made a run for the conference title, in many ways not a good year considering all the talent this team has!!!
I really hate off-season projections. This guy is leaving blah blah blah...the internet blows up and the internet then influences said guy to leave. I hate it so bad
There is zero reason to recruit high school. It takes 3 years for these kids to even contribute. Not worth it with how much it costs to have 60 guys on your roster not contributing. Joey is wrong on this
Eight rhymes with great at tech. Zack rhymes with lack. We were all here during the kliff years. 2 honeymoon years. A position coach gone the next. Then your oc and friend the next year, then your job the next. Wells was oc gone the wells gone the next year. Seems as if we don’t get 8 wins this season it will go dc gone this year. Then prominent position coaches next year. Then maybe joey gone. Heck daddys boy kitley might be elevated to associate a.d. for techs new technology games division and maybe win a natty in madden 2030. And meanwhile, our great a.d. is not held responsible for any circus atmosphere in his programs.

And OU would blow us out! They’re struggling in the SEC but would be top 3 in Big 12.

8 wins means nothing when 2 were against the JV (and almost lost one of those). This conference is weak and we shot ourselves in the foot twice!

I agree that defense wins. I wish we had a Mark Adams defense for our basketball team.

It depends on the school. If that High Schooler goes to a Powerful Blue Blood......they Shall develop Quickly, especially if they're a 4 or 5 Star.
