This is my personal opinion (yes, i did my research) yall- i just wanted to point out- every ship is valid! also for those (and the creator) who think all oumasai shippers are toxic your wrong! This basically goes for all ships but don't forget people have opinions on things and just because someone doesn't agree with you on something doesn't mean everyone will disagree, there are people who like the same ships as you do! Even if saimatsu triggers you because kaede and shuichi didnt know each other long enough or because the love hotel happened with all the drv3 cast and not just shuichi and kaede i personally think its my 2nd comfort ship just because kaede is like a big sis to me and shuichi reminds me of my loving dad (not trying to sexualize my sis and dad with a ship lol) and i like saiouma as my 1st comfort ship because its the first danganronpa ship i ever discovered when i entered the fandom! Although that one line with shuichi saying kokichi would be alone, he was upset because of how much ouma lied throughout every class trial but little did he know some of those lies were hints and if you think about it, kokichi was very useful and helpful in the game! He also gave out a hint after kaedes execution saying "kaede only died because she was the symbol representing our class, and she wanted us to work together to escape, so if we all work together and be friends with one another we will all get killed." Also, shuichi stated kokichi was hinting/giving a hint at something during the 4rth class trial. And that explains why he was rude to everyone, he didn't want to get too emotionally attached to anyone and didn't want the same to happen to anyone else. He only got a bit attached to shuichi because he believed in shuichi just like everyone else. And proof that kokichi knew a few secrets about this game is he discovered makis true ultimate talent, he found out about the VR world miu invented i believe, and he knew about the mastermind, which was tsumugi, and when tsumugi says in the beginning of the game "if i take off my glasses it will expose my true form", kokichi holds onto that sentence and uses it in his plan. Kokichi always claimed to love the killing game he and 15 other characters were thrown into, seeming enthusiastic and gleeful for what would happen next. Kokichi wanted to end the killing game just as much as everyone else. He formulated a plan from the very beginning to end the game which was pretending to be the mastermind, and tricking maki into thinking he drank the antidote stating he didn't want to die. After she left he gave katio the antidote as a reward to cooperate with oumas plan that needed to be executed. Thats why kaito agreed to kill kokichi with the press then hide in the exisal till the near end of the last and final class trial of the killing game semester. And thats when kokichi managed to get kaito to trick everyone else into thinking kaito died because kaito had this notebook that had very specific lines just for this class trial written by kokichi. And using the voice box thingy in the exisal, kaito read the lines using kokichis voice with a voice box inside the exisal. But sadly no one cared about kokichi but the only one who may have had feelings for kokichi was himiko because she did say in regards of kokichis 'hydraulic' press plan "jeez why would he go that far" and that does tell you that she does feel a little bad for him. Also, he might also be a bit close with gonta and rantaro because he had a wax figure of rantaro hanging on his wall and gonta was still nice to kokichi even after the harsh class trial. But kokichi was only rude to gonta because gonta was to naive and nice and he had gonta kill miu because miu was gonna kill kokichi in the vr world. And at the end of when shuichi was done describing how the murder had been done, he said "kokichi would do anything to win, even if it meant dying himself". So at the end of the day, kokichi disguised himself as a bad guy but had good intentions to save everyone.

Ok I don’t know how many times this has happened but it’s been too many to count. I just wanna say please respect others ships, please do not try to harass the ships. If you do not like any of the ships in this video then please just click away rather than trying to write a hate comment about the ship. I’m tired of people constantly trying to force other people their opinion just so they can make other people agree with them. Don’t say things like “the ship doesn’t make sense” “it’s not canon” or etc, because there are also things called rare pairs or fanon ships and they are completely fine. Popular ships like Saiouma/Irumatsu is also ok as long as the ship is not toxic like Junkan (Junko x Mikan). I’m sorry I have to comment this but I’m getting tired of people harassing other’s ships, please just learn to respect it or leave it alone. Any hate comment regarding about ships will be removed.
i personally dont ship saioma but i respect those who ship it! its not a toxic ship and i dont understand why people who hate the ship think its toxic because it really isnt
