THIS WAS THE JAM, AND STILL IS!!
This and Voodoo Ray are the best from that era imo
Decades later, the song still slaps.
This is one of my all time house classics! I still get goose bumps when I hear that baseline and those chords drop. They created an electronica masterpiece!
This one tune helped to shape and mould my view on house music. I Listen to this track as much as I can, it never gets old. Thank you.
The fact that Kevin was inspired to make this track by the Paradise Garage blows my mind. Who woulda thunk that a guy known for putting Detroit on that map would have such a New York influence. Amazing!
This was the turning point in nyc from freestyle in the clubs to the beginning of the house music takeover. Inner city and Groove is in the heart, really got the house groove moving in nyc. It was like oh shit. House music in nyc in the 90s. Wow what great times. Tunnel limelight Palladium Twilo Soundfactory. The best.
I could listen to those intro chords forever on repeat. So glad I was around when this smash song came out.
Big Fun, Good Life and Do You Love What You Feel... Amazing tracks to this day!
Wow that brings back memories !!. 87, the year i finished school. And what a tune !, it was HUGE in the UK.
So huge that the video for Good Life was shot in London.
I was the following year 88´ great times.
So many good night's to this track back in the day 🙏🏾
Man this brings back so many memories - 1987, the year I was born. Good times!!!
Kevin is ageing well!
Just bought 12 inch vinyl of INNER CITY :) BIG FUN and Good life :) yeaaaaa
My New York brother, strolling in the house at 5 a.m.! Those were the days!
this banger is ageless. takes me back to my teen years at the clubs. on teen nights. everytime i hear it
This record was one of the very first vinyls I bought in my life.
Massive track that was WAY ahead of it's time
If this dropped today it absolutely would blow people's minds
The high water mark for electronica, second to none
You can still hear the Brooklyn in his voice after all the years in Detroit.
So beautiful time was that excellent time never forget that song I still enjoy
Absolute classic! Paris’ vocals on this is so brilliant! House perfection!
Thank you for blessing us with your music!!!!!
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥Kevin Saunders genius just shows you how simple is sometimes better and I Love 💞💞💞💞💞 how he spoke about the Paradise Garage the DJ Larry Levan being the genius that he always will be.
It was James Pennington that was the inspiration behind the track. He was the one that sampled the Let's Get Brutal chord and made the riff out of it. That sample became the Inner City sound.
I'm disappointed that Kevin failed to mention James Pennington and Art Forest. It would've only taken a second and I'm sure that they both would've appreciated it.
Classic. This was a monster jam when I was in college. This is the original techno music.
As was Good Life 🎉 🎇
such a great track thank you Kevin this music will be listened to for decades to come
One of my favorites my childhood period.
BRUH - Loved Kevin's music - Big Fun literally blew my mind the first time I heard it - I'd never heard anything like this before in my life - Still AMAZING to me - I appreciate you man!
The song that defined the '90s!
I enjoy these tunes by Inner City because you could lose yourself in the moment at the discotheque until all hours of the night.

This is a classic masterpiece! I've told many that disco didn't die, it morphed into House/Techno.
Still a banger!

THIS IS HYPE! I love the history lesson and I am interested in the story behind the lyrics.

What I love about this track is that its a track about dancing and getting ready to have... big fun. It's the perfect paradox.
This track is still fire!!1 definitely one of my favourite house tracks overall....I would love if they did a similar interview for Pennies from Heaven
Respect
Why his voice reminds me of morgan freeman lol
Anyway amazing story, amazing artist :)
Slightly, yes
Top track then, top track now. Paris's vocals 👌😎

Cant imagine the song w/o Paris voice!
I had NO IDEA Kevin was from NYC and around the Paradise Garage scene in any way.
Flatbush, Brooklyn. His place of birth.
Sooo funny cos for years I always thought inner city was from the UK... have no idea why... Paris baby where u at!!
Eu adoro " Big Fun & Good Life" 🤩👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
My music the Best Inner city
And ever since the day of the release people have sampled off of it
Got the Magic Juan Mix on Wax hihi
Paradise Garage was the template.
This guy should have been crowned King of England 🏴 he should be on Mount rushmoor
Ok what about Good Life
Needed! One of my all time favorites
Or yeah, The group inner city released is track 1987 official not in 1988.
#HouseMusicAllLifeLong
Height of Chicago House...!!!
Made by a New Yorker in Belleville, Michigan?
Mr. Saunderson, a Detroit techno legend.
And what about Inner City - Good life? Another bomb!

wow the narcissistic nostalgia... attesting a successful artist is his capability to produce over and over again with artistic ambiguities.
Curious that after some amazing early tracks his musical output just majorly dipped
Vogue anthem. This dude still vogue's in front of a mirror still. Washed up. try that again
The limitations we had in life in the 80s is what is missing in our society now. New generations are spoilt now, they have to much technology now.
