Wow 9 years ago and I've only just come across this. It's such a great video.
Cathy, you are such a free spirited, fun, enthusiastic artist...so contagious!! Love the effects your watercolored papers give your collages...really gorgeous!
Thank you for showing these simple yet beautiful, inexpensive techniques. I've been reading amd watching videos about collage and it seemed that I would have to spend a fortune on paints to make my own papers, or go through stacks of magazines to even get started. I love your can-do spirit!
That was the MOST fun ... such enthusiasm and clear cut instructions. You're an absolute hoot, Cathy. Many thanks (from Australia).
I love Cathy Taylor -- she's so excited about art! Makes me smile.
Wow now I can use up all my colorful textured mistakes. I just love, love ,love this!
Love the sea turtle addition to that collage!

love love love this!!!! thank you so much for sharing! hugs from North Carolina
Thank you. I like the way you create your painted elements first from which to tear and build your actual collages. Nice and friendly presentation. Thank you also for showing the Clear gel and the micron pens. I was wondering what to use so as not to leave bulky surfaces.
You really inspire me to get coloring when I'm down creatively

Wonderfulllll! Thank youu!
Very helpful. Thanks
Great information, thank you.
Does the glue re activate the watercolor paint and make it smear/run? Are there certain types of glue for working with water colored (soluble) media?
Awesome video thank you!!! Does the glue move the water color when gluing pieces down? I Kno modge podge does. Thanks again. Ur super amazing.
I tried using the coffee filters on hot press paper. The filters dried and came right off. I am assuming I use the watercolor paper and not the colored coffee filters to tear up and use for my sunflower art or whatever I decide to create, correct? I'm a bit confused as to which I use, the colored filters or the watercolor paper glued onto the background. Can someone clarify for me? I'm very new to collage.
Would you put a sealer on top?
Excellent
not quite sure how you did the wax paper -
Do you seal your collage?
Feeling your pains
Emery
Do you ever use book page or magazine papers
