I also like how her orb weapon became her Star guardian companion that is a clockwork bird. It’s a nice touch instead of have a weapon and a pet following Orianna

My tinfoil hat theory as to why Senna was split up from the group is: Riot wanted to put them all together, but Senna was taking a little bit too long. They could have put them all together in next patch, but they didn't wanna distract from Soul Fighter, and + they didn't have much for the Elderwood Patch. So since Senna was taking a bit too long, instead of the delaying the batch of skins until after the Soul Fighter event (and risk the Sera stans unleashing their wrath), they had to just delay Senna by one patch to make it work. Or Riot just hates Senna lol
The hand on the staff is supposed to represent how greed got karthus to get infected by the decaying power of the covenant. Its symbolism for him trying to grasp for powers he should have never had!

To play devil's advocate just a little bit on Elderwood, I think it's really good that they just periodically do a couple of skins here and there. So far I feel like it's kept consistency up when compared to bigger reruns like High Noon, Project, Cosmic, etc. This most recent two for Karthus and Wukong didnt feel like a quota building out skins for the patch, it felt like they had really good ideas for skins worked on them and just dropped them when they were ready. For my money as well they are easily the best skins for both Wukong and Karthus.

honestly sg seraphine is so unpolished and full of problems that aren't ignoreable (the stage on the homeguard, no second familiar on homeguard, no particle effects on the E when they could just get her indie kda one that's the same thing but better, some animation transition errors, etc) really set a bad precedent for the next wr ports. honestly surprised she got that high of a score, her W does kinda carry the whole skin tho.
Honestly i dont think either should get exclusives let everyone have the same stuff. Nilah hasnt gotten a skin sense her release and its WR exlusive. I think everyone should be able to enjoy the sake stuff.

For being a weird mish-mash of skins, the quality is always top-tier and these are really great. Star Guardian Orianna and Seraphine are definitely my favorite skins out of all the Star Guardian skins, I just really like their designs.
I think if Wild Rift wants more exclusive content/skins they should keep up with creating Wild Rift exclusive skin lines. Star Guardian started out on PC first, so I think it’s justified to be upset that some SG skins didn’t make it to PC (I’m not defending harassment or threats that the devs received, that is wrong and no one should ever send death threats over a video game cosmetics) But I think skin lines like Stargazers, Psychic Detectives, and Superheroes should stay on Wild Rift. Because these skins themes are unique to Wild Rift. But thats just my hot take.
Istg the best thing Wild Rift has is the reworked Karma. I know they did that so it is more compatible with the mobile version of the game, but the WR changes to her kit would undoubtedly make her a better champ in league as well, if imported.
I will concede that WR deserves stuff, just not from established skinlines, WR has shown they can make fantastic skinlines all their own and I'm fine with never getting those, but SG has a large fanbase and I don't know why Riot didn't see the backlash coming a mile away.

Ny thoughts on Wild Rift excusivity is that when it's a preestablished skin line like Star Guardian or Crystal Rose it'd be cool if they ported some of those over, but WR definitely deserves exclusive lines like Stargazer and Dream Detective

I‘m happy to get Orianna on pc, as I loved this skin when it first released, but I will not invest money also in wildrift. I think that every skin should be on every platform, at least between pc and wildrift (Lor is a completely different game, I don‘t hold a grudge for exclusivity there) Now we get the same problem with Soul fighter, where there are exclusive skins everywhere. Wildrift doesn‘t get any of the pc skins, and pc doesn‘t get either of Nilah or Irelia. It feels so much like a „fuck you“ for mains of the respective champs, to split there skin releases into two „different“ games. On a more positive note, I really love the Karthus and Wukong skins. Wu never really had a great one, and Underworld looks outdated now. Can‘t wait for the treemonkey

As a fan of darker evil skins, i wasnt too mad about not getting redeemed sg xayah and rakan (especially since i only rlly recently became kinda a xayah main) on SR because i just like them so much better. I love the voicelines and how sassy Xayah is and Rakan is as funny as ever. Of course redeemed r still gorgeous but again i think corrupted is the better one in my opinion
I'm gonna have to disagree with you on "them having their own exclusive skins". Imo, I think both should be, as Riot employees stated before, "exclusive... for a time and then shared". I believe this should go for BOTH versions of the game, IE skins should be exclusive on either platform for a while and then are eventually shared across the other platforms. That way you can have your cake and eat it too. You can have exclusives BUT also share them between different platforms and in a way, from a financial stand point, make more money overall.
While yes the battle academia wukong skin does suck in game, I see why people might like it as as it recontextulizes the champion from being monkey man to being an anime boy. Similar to arcana Xerath I like it when they do this as it might get some people more interested in playing the champion who other wise wasnt. I wish they would do the inverse more often however of turning the human champions into monsters as well.
Star Guardian was on PC first and foremost keeping skins from people who actually invested all their money on PC, is a bad decision in the first place. Hell I'm addicted to league never once I have bought anything on Wildrift nor play it more than 30 mins per 6 months. Legends of Runeterra on the other hand, I spent too much money on. Lor better than Wildrift.
i might be a bit biased since I'm a wr-only player but i much prefer having exclusive content. it's not like we're ever gonna have all of the content on league pc, we dont have a single ultimate skin (just ultimate chromas like jhin's, sold on gacha), we don't have "regular" chromas, there's not half of the skin lines... and it's not realistically possible. we're talking about mobile devices. i remember many people concerned about project mordekaiser possibly exploding their pcs, imagine that on phones. plus wr devs have stated that some skins will never be ported, like coven morgana. some skins get downgraded, like coven evelynn. i like having exclusivity to make up for those limitations. also, it's a different game, it's a different engine. the models were made from scratch. this is why gragas and malphite look fine on wr and they don't port it to pc, it's a different engine, it's not that simple. so skins for older champions would look like dogshit on pc and people would complain about it. pc seraphine mains sent literal death threats to devs while wr akali mains were like "oh we're not getting the sg? oh that's sad" and moved on. again, i may be biased, but i think pc players are spoiled and the majority are "core gamers" (ew) who are so loud about wr being "a stupid kids' game" just because it's mobile because GOD FORBID playing mobile games.
I do think WR should have exclusivity, but only in their skin lines, not skins themselves. LoR's SG Gwen escaped this issue due to her being, for the most part, a splash art, but because we see the WR skins in action, it really stings even more to not have them on PC, when the latter was the version of the game to give birth to this line in the first place (it also didn't help that the WR skins had a much more appealing storyline with cute animations, while PC got that mediocre visual novel). In Star Guardian's case, it felt even more like a slap to the face because of the skin choices, I'm not even gonna talk about Seraphine, because her stans did enough harm, but Redeemed Rakan and Xayah were requested literally since the corrupted versions were announced, hell, WR itself wasn't announced yet, but PC ended up not getting those skins.

Which explains why yorick and olaf got 2 skins in 1 year as non popular champions. And this is most likely what riot thinks too. They shouldve just done fewer Star Guardian skins and had both games have all of them. I'm glad Oriana finally got a 1350 skin that isn't limited availability and is actually good. (I don't like sfx on Dark Star and the Bee skins trigger me for being a dumb concept, sad that Snow Day is legacy and her only other skin worth buying imo is TPA which is also legacy)
I agree orianna is so sold short w her skins. Apart from star guardain, the only skin that I liked was pool party and it's the only skin I own for her, dark star being my second ok favorite. She just doesn't have any GOOD skins yk? Star guardian has a lot of issues to it due to them using her model and making her human so now her robotic emotes make her looks crazy 😦 ik I'll eventually buy it tho cuz other than that it's beautiful
the fact the wr exclusives are coming into pc (except xayah and rakan) kinda piss me off like sure theyre good skins but the amount of harassment ppl received because of them is crazy, its so annoying seeing ppl complain about wr exclusives like we dont have thousands of skins we can pick from. They complain about wr being a worse version of league but then get mad when wr gets even a pinch of content every 2 months
the Sera fans were toxic as hell but I can understand it for champs that get less skins, like Orianna for example, of all her skins she has gotten from her release date to now only 3 of them are buyable and she usually only gets a skin like every 2 years, or with the bewitching vex situation where at the time before her Empyrean skin was announced she had not received a single skin since her release and for it to finally happen and be a WR exclusive was a kick to the face.
I just don't like exclusive skins for established skinlines, WR has shown they can make unique skinlines and I'm fine with never getting any of them, but skinlines from PC have dedicated fanbases that like those skins and that Riot thought that none of those fans would take issue with this practice is insane.
I really disagree with the wild rift exclusives take, it's not like Wild Rift is a fully different game like TFT, Legends of Runeterra, or Valorant. It's phone league of legends. Having exclusives in the same skinline is just weird to me. I guess though Im not really bothered when it's an entirely new skinline, it just feels weird that your favorite champ could get selected for a skinline that exists in pc but their version is just not in the game.
It's also what happened to DC; They cave in, gave Zack Snyder a couple more mils to finish a supposedly finished movie. And now the "fans" started attacking people; An actor deactivated his socials, because of non stop harassment, all because he was fan casted as Superman. My crackpot theory is it makes people feel like they're doing something; Because Zack Snyder is friends with James Gunn, went to see the Flash, and making his own shit in Netflix. But his "fans" are still advocating on bringing back the "Snyderverse"; Which mostly consist of terrible to mid movies.

Battle Academia Leona was a good skin, just a shame the Eclipse skins just...well eclipse it in every way, seriously the only time Leona players use other skins is if they don't have one of the Eclipse skins.

I can't play it and listen to her same outdated lines with a robotic voice coming out of what is supposed to be a human girl. They should have made it a legendary skin and given her a regular voice that would fit
I don't mind WR and LoR-exclusive skins, unless they're actually really cool, which in that case, please put them into League PC please. They'll be getting classic League PC skins anyway, so it's fair enough. Personally, I'd love to see SG Gwen, Bewitching Vex Worldbreaker Elise and Arcade Quinn find their way into League proper.

Back in the day Riot was really, really bad at crediting the original voice actors. They probably never made a note of it. Insane, I know.

Ny thoughts on Wild Rift excusivity is that when it's a preestablished skin line like Star Guardian or Crystal Rose it'd be cool if they ported some of those over, but WR definitely deserves exclusive lines like Stargazer and Dream Detective

I‘m happy to get Orianna on pc, as I loved this skin when it first released, but I will not invest money also in wildrift. I think that every skin should be on every platform, at least between pc and wildrift (Lor is a completely different game, I don‘t hold a grudge for exclusivity there) Now we get the same problem with Soul fighter, where there are exclusive skins everywhere. Wildrift doesn‘t get any of the pc skins, and pc doesn‘t get either of Nilah or Irelia. It feels so much like a „fuck you“ for mains of the respective champs, to split there skin releases into two „different“ games.
On a more positive note, I really love the Karthus and Wukong skins. Wu never really had a great one, and Underworld looks outdated now. Can‘t wait for the treemonkey

WR should have exclusive skinlines, but exclusive skins from established skinlines is just annoying, ah yes my favorite champ just got a skin from my favorite skinline but it's on a mobile game, Riot knew what they were doing and shouldn't have been surprised that a champ's community finally went after them.

As a fan of darker evil skins, i wasnt too mad about not getting redeemed sg xayah and rakan (especially since i only rlly recently became kinda a xayah main) on SR because i just like them so much better. I love the voicelines and how sassy Xayah is and Rakan is as funny as ever. Of course redeemed r still gorgeous but again i think corrupted is the better one in my opinion

I'm gonna have to disagree with you on "them having their own exclusive skins". Imo, I think both should be, as Riot employees stated before, "exclusive... for a time and then shared". I believe this should go for BOTH versions of the game, IE skins should be exclusive on either platform for a while and then are eventually shared across the other platforms. That way you can have your cake and eat it too. You can have exclusives BUT also share them between different platforms and in a way, from a financial stand point, make more money overall.
Honestly, if they ever port those corrupted skins from LoR, I would buy them all in a heartbeat
While yes the battle academia wukong skin does suck in game, I see why people might like it as as it recontextulizes the champion from being monkey man to being an anime boy. Similar to arcana Xerath I like it when they do this as it might get some people more interested in playing the champion who other wise wasnt. I wish they would do the inverse more often however of turning the human champions into monsters as well.
My Friend really like the Wukong Skin. He doesn't like it in game, but he likes the splash art, so i think people come from that angle

Star Guardian was on PC first and foremost keeping skins from people who actually invested all their money on PC, is a bad decision in the first place. Hell I'm addicted to league never once I have bought anything on Wildrift nor play it more than 30 mins per 6 months. Legends of Runeterra on the other hand, I spent too much money on. Lor better than Wildrift.

No, why would it be? They got moved to old god to fix inconsistencies, there's no reason for karthus to be moved

i might be a bit biased since I'm a wr-only player but i much prefer having exclusive content. it's not like we're ever gonna have all of the content on league pc, we dont have a single ultimate skin (just ultimate chromas like jhin's, sold on gacha), we don't have "regular" chromas, there's not half of the skin lines... and it's not realistically possible. we're talking about mobile devices. i remember many people concerned about project mordekaiser possibly exploding their pcs, imagine that on phones. plus wr devs have stated that some skins will never be ported, like coven morgana. some skins get downgraded, like coven evelynn. i like having exclusivity to make up for those limitations.
also, it's a different game, it's a different engine. the models were made from scratch. this is why gragas and malphite look fine on wr and they don't port it to pc, it's a different engine, it's not that simple. so skins for older champions would look like dogshit on pc and people would complain about it.
pc seraphine mains sent literal death threats to devs while wr akali mains were like "oh we're not getting the sg? oh that's sad" and moved on. again, i may be biased, but i think pc players are spoiled and the majority are "core gamers" (ew) who are so loud about wr being "a stupid kids' game" just because it's mobile because GOD FORBID playing mobile games.

I do think WR should have exclusivity, but only in their skin lines, not skins themselves. LoR's SG Gwen escaped this issue due to her being, for the most part, a splash art, but because we see the WR skins in action, it really stings even more to not have them on PC, when the latter was the version of the game to give birth to this line in the first place (it also didn't help that the WR skins had a much more appealing storyline with cute animations, while PC got that mediocre visual novel). In Star Guardian's case, it felt even more like a slap to the face because of the skin choices, I'm not even gonna talk about Seraphine, because her stans did enough harm, but Redeemed Rakan and Xayah were requested literally since the corrupted versions were announced, hell, WR itself wasn't announced yet, but PC ended up not getting those skins.
What about the new skinlines that split the champ selection into two? Like the Mythmakers (5vs5) or the Soul Fighters (10vs5)

I feel like the musical skins don't count towards a champion's skin progression, they're just by products of an album being released

Which explains why yorick and olaf got 2 skins in 1 year as non popular champions. And this is most likely what riot thinks too. I doubt they will leave a champion and not give a new skin meanwhile other members of the band got a skin because it got one sometime soon
I don't think there is a problem with porting the skins, exclusivity is shit, to me it sounds like "mom, only me can have this", I don't think having exclusives is a positive thing

They shouldve just done fewer Star Guardian skins and had both games have all of them. I'm glad Oriana finally got a 1350 skin that isn't limited availability and is actually good. (I don't like sfx on Dark Star and the Bee skins trigger me for being a dumb concept, sad that Snow Day is legacy and her only other skin worth buying imo is TPA which is also legacy)
I agree orianna is so sold short w her skins. Apart from star guardain, the only skin that I liked was pool party and it's the only skin I own for her, dark star being my second ok favorite. She just doesn't have any GOOD skins yk? Star guardian has a lot of issues to it due to them using her model and making her human so now her robotic emotes make her looks crazy 😦 ik I'll eventually buy it tho cuz other than that it's beautiful
the fact the wr exclusives are coming into pc (except xayah and rakan) kinda piss me off like sure theyre good skins but the amount of harassment ppl received because of them is crazy, its so annoying seeing ppl complain about wr exclusives like we dont have thousands of skins we can pick from. They complain about wr being a worse version of league but then get mad when wr gets even a pinch of content every 2 months
the Sera fans were toxic as hell but I can understand it for champs that get less skins, like Orianna for example, of all her skins she has gotten from her release date to now only 3 of them are buyable and she usually only gets a skin like every 2 years, or with the bewitching vex situation where at the time before her Empyrean skin was announced she had not received a single skin since her release and for it to finally happen and be a WR exclusive was a kick to the face.

I dont mind the exclusive skins but i dont like it when its an exclusive for a champ that didnt get a skin in league for over 2 years
I just don't like exclusive skins for established skinlines, WR has shown they can make unique skinlines and I'm fine with never getting any of them, but skinlines from PC have dedicated fanbases that like those skins and that Riot thought that none of those fans would take issue with this practice is insane.
I really disagree with the wild rift exclusives take, it's not like Wild Rift is a fully different game like TFT, Legends of Runeterra, or Valorant. It's phone league of legends. Having exclusives in the same skinline is just weird to me. I guess though Im not really bothered when it's an entirely new skinline, it just feels weird that your favorite champ could get selected for a skinline that exists in pc but their version is just not in the game.

Battle Academia Leona was a good skin, just a shame the Eclipse skins just...well eclipse it in every way, seriously the only time Leona players use other skins is if they don't have one of the Eclipse skins.

I would love Star Guardian Orianna if it wasn't for the robotic voice with the same old lines that they haven't updated yet. I love the aesthetic, I love the dress, I love the familiar, I love everything about the skin EXCEPT that. I can't play it and listen to her same outdated lines with a robotic voice coming out of what is supposed to be a human girl. They should have made it a legendary skin and given her a regular voice that would fit
senna's skin looks more like a dark star skin rather than a star guardian skin.
I think ranked rewards and esports skins should definitely be exclusive, but regular skins don't have to be.

I don't mind WR and LoR-exclusive skins, unless they're actually really cool, which in that case, please put them into League PC please. They'll be getting classic League PC skins anyway, so it's fair enough. Personally, I'd love to see SG Gwen, Bewitching Vex Worldbreaker Elise and Arcade Quinn find their way into League proper.

Wukongs skin deserves a 9/10
