Yes, the TF2 community and its creativity is legendary. Hell can extend that to all of Valve games because of their open modding. However, the games themselves have gone to shit. Lack of any meaningful updates and piss poor cheat detection has ruined all of Valve's multiplayer games. They have lost their way... big time.

I know I'm late, but Skyrim is actually pretty similar to this animation and I bet the creator was inspired by Skyrim. How the REDs fight the BLUs may be a reference to guild battles you can join, the spells are pretty similar, the scenario looks a lot like Skyrim too (I know they are just maps though) and there many other things both the game and this animation share in common
This is something I would want to see in full movie form. For a second, I thought I was watching a Dreamworks or Pixar film! They should definitely hire you because you are extremely talented at using this. Might as well earn an Oscar instead of a Saxxy!

I love it... perfectly exemplefies the human condition, fighting to the death over something as simple as where one gets their food from, and how just the simple act of sparing a life can flip that switch in someone's mind to turning their enemy from "the other" back to "a fellow person"....
What I love about this is that nothing REALLY clashes together, like you don't see a demo man knight with a sword but he still has grenades on his chest. And you don't see a pyro gas mask on a wizard. It's all put together so well.
You were really creative about using the spell chants as a form of communication, thats really cool to not really hear awkward voicelines. For me that was one of the best parts.
To be honest, imagine if the Medic lived and the BLU Sniper decided to join Heavy. The four, Heavy, Engineer, Medic, and Sniper would have made a great party. A alchemist mage, the barbarian tank, the healer, and the long-range archer.

The story, the characters, the world, everything you have incorporated into the animation gives it such deep lore. I applaud you good sir for this animation of yours is an amazing example of how SFM animations can be made into art.
Also I love how you make your sets and how you made the world feel so big and alive. Moreover the final fight at the end was great using different types of weapons and magic for different characters!

The visuals are outstanding and the idea is great, but the scenario is lacking any form of complexity and is very boring. Good work, but needs more polishing. I'll still leave a like, one of the few tf2 SFM animations that use dota 2 props and non-tf2 setting.
I personally think that there is nothing wrong with having a black and white plot, and most certainly it didn't lack complexity. Quite the opposite really. Great work.

I feel like the pyro should have been the last one to go down, being the one who seemed to not only be the leader, but to also be the master magician or spellcaster. I also feel the lava would make more sense for him as well.
