  • Baeza is a city and municipality in Spain, in the province of Jaén. It is integrated in the region of La Loma and is the head of the judicial district of Baeza.
On July 3, 2003, UNESCO declared the Renaissance monumental ensembles of Úbeda and Baeza a World Heritage Site.
Baeza is an agro-city , where olive cultivation is the largest generator of wealth and employment, since at least 47% of the active population works in the agricultural sector.
Within the tertiary sector, thanks to its status as a Renaissance monumental complex, a World Heritage Site, it has 10 hotel establishments and the service sector is favored, not only by tourism, but also by the existence of the Academy of Guards and NCOs.
