As a local San Diego witch as well, this is such a great video. If you’ve never been to Blue Sky Reserve in Poway, it’s a beautiful, gentle walk on a level trail through lots of shady trees and there are lots of plants and animals around. Since it’s a reserve of course we don’t forage when we go, but it’s so peaceful and beautiful. Bring a jacket, because the early morning deep shade makes some very cold spots on the path.
Thanks for the tips! Nice to meet a fellow SD witch.
@@MagicalCrafting hello to both of you. I’m here in SD too. Perhaps a cup of tea together would be lovely sometime!
Bringing potted plants to my indoor space and caring for them is another way to have the energy of nature around me. Thank you for this beautiful video!
Thank you for this. You have such a soothing ,BEAUTIFUL , and enchanting voice. Thanks for all you share. Your are thanked and loved. Blessings 😌
I used to live in SanDiego many years ago and I recognized Balboa Park as it was always my favorite place to go as well
I am from SD as well and just adore Balboa Park and enjoy spending time there. Thank you for this lovely and inspirational video!
I love this video so much! I moved from Tampa, Florida, to Chattanooga, Tennessee a year ago. While I'm in the city, I live within a half an hour from several state parks and even a national military park that was a battlefield. I love the energy there. It's sad in places, yes, but when I walk through the miles and miles of woods and trails, I feel drawn to two certain places where I feel the energy of young native children. One evening, I was surrounded by a group of deer who were running through, and I swore I could hear the children's laughter, and even a glimpse of them running with them. That is where I go when I need a boost of happy energy and positivity. I love your idea about foraging in the park! I do when I hike, but I've been thinking about getting a season pass to Rock City Gardens up on Lookout Mountain. You've just justified it for me! LOL Thanks!!
I used to live in a very wooded area, and having moved to the valley there are much less trees here, so I've been trying to put some plants in as many places as I can in my environment.
Lately at times birds almost fly near me and chirp. There are these birds that tend to be on a pole near lights and they chirp away with different songs. I was trying to mimic them, I think they understood because the notes of the singing changed at times. ❤️
San Diego? Me too!
yay nice to meet a fellow san diegan
@@MagicalCrafting Hello from SD to you both.
I have lived in 4 western states, but never California. I've visited San Diego, and absolutely loved it. It's my favorite large city in the US. My first visit there was with my parents as a 7 year old, and I absolutely adored San Diego Sea World. My last visit was for a work conference one year in mid-December. I loved all the lights, and the festive activities, including the boat parades. It really is a beautiful place for a city witch to practice.
Thank you for your inspiration video 😘 I live in Hamburg, Germany, 1.8 m inhabitants and near my home is a little forest. I frequently go there and forage items for magical craftings and rituals. They somehow always fit to my intentions. For example for protection spells I could use tree bark or chestnut shells. I almost always use some items from my favorite trees there. The forest gives me such calming energy and clears my thoughts and emotions. I feel totally refreshed and have new inspirations 🌲🌳🦉💚
I enjoyed your video. Relaxing and good tips. ❤
What an inspiration! 🐝🌹🌻🕯🃏🦆🦜
that fig tree is stupendous! As above, so below
I am so sorry about Vincent, as I home share with 2 lady cat's I dred not having them with me, but your painting is amazing, and of course Vincent will always be with you , much love and blessings ❤

Omg Im in San Diego too! I wish you had workshops in person , I really need this in my life its very relaxing , especially during nursing school
Hello and thank you. If you want a cup of tea, I am a quiet respectful practitioner who sometimes needs tea too-I am here in SD too. It’s lovely.
Hi Deborah so nice to meet you!
Yay!!! I'm in L.A. too!! This is coming to me right on time!
Connecting to the seasons and the forest. Thanks for the tips.
Wow!! I'm so lucky to live in my small town in Alabama..We have parks, national forest and so much nature. Just down the street we have a wonderful park..I have a huge fenced in yard with flower gardens and my front porch has all my houseplants on it..Thank you for sharing your path..
Thanks so much for this beautiful video! I loved to see where you live and the specific places of power you found. I'd be drawn to the rose garden and Spanish Village at Balboa Park too. I loved the little Anole you encountered. When I was a kid I had a few as pets. You always make such great content :) xo, Aurora
Thanks so much , I need this right now , I’m an urban north Brisbane Witch 🧙♀️ with the beach 35 minutes away . And 2 beautiful parks near by 😑 but I Also suffer PTSD & been unfairly judged by our Grown Children as because of my Permanently Sustained Injuries caused by work place Bullies in the Age care sector whilst caring for Dementia Residents 😑 I am no longer any use to them as a Grandma let alone a mother or step mother 😢 .
So I am trying really hard to create a new Normal for me and my soulmate Husband
I love Balboa Park!
I always imagined you being from the Midwest for some reason. I'm happy to hear you're in California as I'm in California also. L.A. county. When it comes to foraging for magical items, I rarely do that. Unless I'm at the ocean which is not often.
cool I want to do a SoCal Meetup next year!
i loooove balboa park.

Your almost at 100k let’s get U there before 2022 ends wow celebration 🎉 the best
aw thank you. I would love that.
Such a different perspective and loved taking this adventure with you!
Beautiful video! Please share more content creators similar to you. You are awesome!
Thank you, I will
Oooo I love this! Thank you for sharing your journey with us. It’s so wonderful to learn more about you. One of my city witch tips is visiting a cemetery. I know, I know, it sounds morbid and weird. But at its heart, it is a place of rest, and I find it so peaceful and serene. It’s like having a private park to yourself. There is hardly any other (live) people, and the ones you come across are quiet, respectful and give you your space. Most cemeteries have benches you can sit at and have a little meditative moment. Also, it really puts things into perspective. What may seem like a big stressor or anxious deal to you, seems a bit trivial surrounded by the “alternative” option. If you are fortunate enough to live by a loved friend or family member who has passed, consider ‘visiting’ them and talking things out, even asking them to send a sign your way. It’s very therapeutic. It has been for me anyway.
I love this idea! a great idea for a video too maybe?
@@MagicalCrafting I think that would make a good video and I know you would make it so lovely. Feel free.
Thank you for your beuatiful and inspiring video! Since the pandemic and since delving into witchcraft I connected much stronger to nature around me in my city. I try to put the ideas you shared into practice too and would also love to make some temporary outdoors altar(s) some day on tree stumps or stones. I also enjoy meeting cats during walks. 🙂
Yay! I also live in California☀️🌟🌊
Oh yay! Where?
Do you have any koi ponds accessible to visit? There's usually turtles and other wildlife nearby. Thank you for sharing your journeys kindred soul 🌺🌿🐇🐿️🦔🐦🦎

Hello, I see that this tarot journal is an A5 size. Do you also have the weekly planner in A5 size?
so far I have only done the tarot journal in the smaller size - eventually I want to try to make them all smaller so there are two choices. I am not sure if the weekly planner would work in the smaller format but I will try!
I think i would lose my mind if i had to live in a city. so much endless concrete and noise day and night. People everywhere you turn. Also kind of sad that nature in the city is actually artificial as well since everything that's there is controlled by people and not wild nature. I feel very blessed to live out in the bush where there is only nature and quiet.
