I remember there was a pet dog we had who used to get terrible rashes on her tummy and we didn't know why. Giving her regular baths wasn't working to help with the rashes, nor baths with soaps that were meant to be soothing for dogs. But for some reason i had this very strong belief that this one plant in our backyard that grew no where else would have some sort of power to soothe her rashes. So i'd bath her in a stew of leaves from this plant. and the rash would go away. idk how. idk why i knew. but it was the only thing that worked. Even my parents were confused. I was maybe like, 7-8 years old at the time? strange, but interesting
using the tuna/cat food/whatever cans as water catchers is so smart! doing that! love all your insights, your bits about being an intuitive witch above all else are perfect
I’m so glad to hear this inspired you! You’ll want to subscribe to my new channel where I’m focusing more on green magic. It’s called Hedge, Hearth & Harvest
I love it when you go out and cut your Beautiful Wildflowers! I used to do that as well in the meadows near my home. Here where I live in Central Texas it hasnt rained since April. 😢😢😢
@@AfuraNefertiti Thank You, we do too. I'm sorry about the mix up earlier on your channel. I accidentally got the message I sent my Daughter and the message I sent you above mixed up. You got hers and she got yours. I haven't been feeling well with my kidneys and my medication sometimes is a bit too much. Anyway, I'm sorry about the mix up. I just Loved Your video! 🙂🙂🙂
I only recently found your channel and I must say I love watching your videos, so inspiring. I would love to know all the beautiful things you were making in this one. A video on how you use the herbs in your practice would be so interesting. I’m new to witch craft and still learning what I love most. Thank you for sharing ❤
Welcome! I recently started a new channel just for green witchery and have a video coming out on herbs soon. Please subscribe over at The Hedge Witch’s Hearth Homestead on YT ✨
So much great advice here, Afura! I've really been enjoying seeing my own gardening practices evolve as I learn more about plant benefits and green witchery. This year my chamomile crop (one whole clay pot's worth!) was successful and is still providing blossoms for delicious teas! I've dried a nice variety of herbs and have begun trying tinctures, oils, and salves. I think because of this intentionality I've spent way more time tending the garden than in years past. Your videos of your gardening practices keep me inspired. Looking forward to the Empowered Modern Witches Summit!
Wow congratulations on that successful journey this year! And that chamomile! Mine are still the size of seedlings lol. I’m looking forward to the summit too ✨

Hi Afura - gorgeous video! Your life is an inspiration to all of us! Like you, I'm in the process of having to move, and I hope I can have a yard and garden with my new home. Just would like to point out that when you say that the Sun moving into a cardinal sign defines the solstices and equinoxes, it's really something different. The solstices and equinoxes are determined by the Sun's declination - its angular distance from Earth's equator. When the Sun is at its maximum declination, the solstices occur (summer solstice is determined by the Sun at 23.5 degrees north of the equator, while the winter solstice is the Sun at 23.5 degrees south of the equator, for the northern hemisphere) and the equinoxes are when the Sun is in line with the equator (0 degrees). Ancient astrologers "designed" the zodiac around these points determined by the Sun's apparent movement around the Earth, with the Spring equinox demarcating the beginning the Aries, the Summer solstice demarcating the beginning of Cancer, the Fall equinox demarcating the beginning of Libra, and the Winter solstice demarcating the beginning of Capricorn. This is the tropical zodiac which a lot of astrologers still use. The cusps of these signs did align with the solstices and equinoxes in ancient times, but due to the precession of the equinoxes, they no longer coincide - but tropical astrology still uses this alignment to define the cusps of the signs, whereas sidereal astrology defines the placement of the Sun, Moon and planets according to their actual placement against the pattern of the constellations in the sky. Wishing you good luck in finding your perfect new home! Blessed be!

your garden looks beautiful ❤ very excited that your propagation's worked👍 stinging nettle is something I would love to try but have quite the allergy to it...I wonder though if the seeds would be different and worth a try by incorporating them in a nutty bread ? I hope that the self heal tincture works for you -- I have heard that it's amazing for so many things 😊thank you for sharing and have a wonderful week

Is it normal for me, a male green witch, to be able to commune with animals? I can also powerfully control the air
