Sell on Esty, Ebay, Marcari and some on Posh mark. Full time seller, but has back off a little since she had covid! Was sick for several months. Love your finds, make sure that the head vase is not a repro, I guess that is a thing now from China!
I don’t think she’s full time. Her profile on TH-cam under “About” says she does it for extra money. I’ve watched her for years and don’t recall her ever being full time.

I don't think the green butter dish is uranium glass. Typically, it is a much lighter green than that...but let us know when you get your light please!

Although I admire what you do I can't help wonder how this may affect buyers who can barely afford thrift store prices now. will the result end up costing consumers of these items more, causing hardships
I can vouch as a thrift store buyer only, that now buying basic clothes are becoming a nightmare as the prices are going up so much, regular people are not able to afford.
Totally agree about increasing ASP! I have a channel also and have been selling 20+ years - I feel like I’m always chatting about being “Long Tail” and trying to increase ASP. I don’t have the shipping time to do low $10 items. I watch so many other channels to learn as much as possible for the reason of increasing ASP. I do see a lot of Resellers with a Quick Flip model who are ok with $10 profit items and for me I can’t imagine the time involved to make decent money. I don't produce a video but I do teach an online selling course locally. I do personal property appraisals, and run an estate sale business as well as sell online full time. I should say that I work full time at my various businesses. I too need to choose my activities carefully to maximize my income. I have been self employed for 40 years and my schedule has changed with the times. I don't have a set schedule but I do schedule a week ahead the more important events. I have 8 grandkids and am active in their lives. The beauty of self-employment is that I can work around important family events. I never miss anything!

You must have been so tired, you found some amazing things, you have such a good eye for vintage and things that have value. Sometimes I struggle with that, I'll think something is more valuable than it actually is, thats why I like to learn from people on youtube, Like you, I know little about glass, so I stay away, because I see so many beautiful glass pieces, but I have to remember that just because it's pretty, don't mean it's rare or worth money. Great video, as always! I also leave M kors behind, it doesn't sell well for me, historically.

Wow, amazing designer finds! I just sold a Dries van Noten navy blue cotton blazer (not great quality but in very good condition) for $180 - I paid $6.99 at the thrift store. It took about 8 months to sell, but it went for big money. Good luck with yours!

I know my thirfts are over priced GW, Savers I was in salvation army the other day 24.99 for jeans brand VO I never even heard of it before did comps ad they are about 20.00 to resell . PA has the best priced stores

Spent a good hour looking and checking comps on things I thought “might” give me some room for profit and walked out with a pair of Dansko for $10- Two hand painted cocktail glasses-and a Dept 56 Christmas Ornament for my mom! Spent $20. It’s just a time issue for me mainly. I spend my lunch hour in a nearby thrift store and sometimes walk out with something sometimes not. I’ve gotten better at quickly walking thru and splitting my time sourcing and working in drafts… I want this- I NEED this to work- so I have to figure it out. That’s why I’m thinking about sourcing in other areas where cost of living is less. I’m single- plan on staying single-and in 10 years want to be full time eBay and retired from current job. GOALS- lol

Oh Roger has a great eye...love the kat sweater! And love those clogs too. I have been reselling almost 5 years now and I have always been on look out for some just like those for myself. I live on a farm and its wet here in northwest. Perfect to throw on for quick trips outdoors. Do you think I could ever find any that are in great condition like that, fit me and I could afford (ie they were not astronomically priced at thrift)? No. not yet. I have hopes tho. Fun to watch what you find.
I also wanted to ask- do you spend several days a week doing marathon (aka-12/hr days) thrifting? I have an abundance of thrift stores near me but a new coat with tags or a coat that is in good shape goes for $20 if I’m lucky…I pass them by…I’m considering heading into the Carolinas to spend several days sourcing…Raleigh NC area…drive over to Charlotte then back to Roanoke Va 🙅♀️
So you're from Rosnoke,Va,? My grown kids live there. When I go there (I'm from NW Indiana by Chicago) I love going to Goodwill stores & prices on some things aren't too high for me. One flea market I went to in outskirts of Bedford had some good bargins & people were very friendly.
@@joyfurrow5101 Hi Joy! Yes, I’m from the Roanoke area- more towards the Va Tech side- NRV- I can’t seem to find enough good items priced well, tho there are a TON of vintages clothing there. I do have some “Honey Holes” but only source a few items at each spot. I don’t live in that area anymore- so when I go visit I have a few days to accomplish what I can. Roanoke used to be FULL of Flea Markets but most have been driven out of business. I’ve scoured NC and have found a route that has a lot of stores. I may try it in January…I also work full time at another job so that complicated things…😵💫
When I'm down there I'd like to go to Estate or live auctions, but I don't know how to find them. Does the local newspaper carry a listing on a certain day or is there an online app? Help! I'm not really a resaler. Just sell couple times a year at local week end flea markets. I just enjoy the hunt.

I only buy on eBay now and I have gotten things in packaging from Amazon, Home Depot, Walmart … despite buying them on the eBay platform. Apparently the sellers are drop shipping!

You would do well looking for minimalist items, ceramic curved vases, things that crate and barrel or west elm styles... A bit more modern

I have an abundance of thrift stores near me but a new coat with tags or a coat that is in good shape goes for $20 if I’m lucky…I pass them by…I’m considering heading into the Carolinas to spend several days sourcing…Raleigh NC area…drive over to Charlotte then back to Roanoke Va 🙅♀️

So you're from Rosnoke,Va,? My grown kids live there. When I go there (I'm from NW Indiana by Chicago) I love going to Goodwill stores & prices on some things aren't too high for me. One flea market I went to in outskirts of Bedford had some good bargins & people were very friendly.
@@joyfurrow5101 Hi Joy! Yes, I’m from the Roanoke area- more towards the Va Tech side- NRV- I can’t seem to find enough good items priced well, tho there are a TON of vintages clothing there. I do have some “Honey Holes” but only source a few items at each spot. I don’t live in that area anymore- so when I go visit I have a few days to accomplish what I can. Roanoke used to be FULL of Flea Markets but most have been driven out of business. I’ve scoured NC and have found a route that has a lot of stores. I may try it in January…I also work full time at another job so that complicated things…😵💫
When I'm down there I'd like to go to Estate or live auctions, but I don't know how to find them. Does the local newspaper carry a listing on a certain day or is there an online app? Help! I'm not really a resaler. Just sell couple times a year at local week end flea markets. I just enjoy the hunt.

I only buy on eBay now and I have gotten things in packaging from Amazon, Home Depot, Walmart … despite buying them on the eBay platform. Apparently the sellers are drop shipping!
