no one actually would tell how to get into raising a software start up company from scratch, But would give long lectures about products and other relatives stuffs but none of them would tell how or which way to follow.
watch his other video Lessons Learned Building 3 Software Companies, it is a lot more informative for what you want to know even though there is a couple similarities to this one. Actually many people tell you how to start from scratch but because its so simple it goes over their heads all the time. Just make a mvp, see what the users say and improve on it.
Awesome! As a COMSci student, I think something like this would be an amazing half semester course. Could be integrated into the databases course since it is really easy and some what carries the business theme in an otherwise mathematically heavily degree.
Start now buddy! No reason why you can't. If you have the chops to program stuff, develop sites and webapps, start doing it for people, and after a few years you'll be a pro. By 18, you can start your own company.
What I have seen so far, in fact I work for such a software company named GoodCore Software, you start small and gradually increase with the work requirement and keep investing as you earn and strive hard to give better environment , salary and perks to your employee, who basically turn into a mouthpiece to help you acquire good talent.
This is some of the worst advice on entering the technology sector.... He's clearly trying to cut out the competition lol! Don't compete with FB, don't compete in the App store... WTF is the point of this lecture?
Give it away for free. Ofc if you want your product to be perceived as cheap. Wtf is this advice. Have dignity for your software you’ll have no value from those who can’t pay you
