- Join flower farmer and florist Georgie Newbery of Common Farm Flowers in Somerset England as she tours her flower farm in early September to see what she has for cutting through this coming month. As she walks round the garden with her trusty trolley and her camera she cuts three each of twenty five different varieties with which she makes three special posies for an elderly lady to receive as a housewarming present. See what she cuts, and the posies she makes, and her clever idea for delivering a wow factor gift that will fit in a small space.

Its Labor Day today here in the United States. Today we celebrate all the hard work of those who keep our economy spinning along. Our flower , animal and produce farmers are at the top of my list of those I am most grateful for. They feed the body and the soul.

Great tour of late summer garden. I was so pleased to know and grow about 90% of your plants. I fell head over heals with dahlias too , but had give most of them up due to serious threats to our water supply. Dahlias do have a unique effect on people. I take flowers to the health clinic where I work. Flowers are Definitely therapeutic. Great antidepressants.And with fragrance? Aromatherapy , of course.

I like your videos, but not enough to contribute. I don’t even drink coffee! Your flowers and arranging are beautiful, but your always asking for buying you a coffee is very irritating!
I do understand, and will be sad to lose you from my channel. I find the coffees v reassuring, as they tell me which are the good clips and what people like. The clips take time and energy to put together, and as I need to make a living, if they didn't pay a little I wouldn't make them. I hope to encourage as many people as possible to grow and create with flowers, but I can't do this unless I can pay my own bills. So I have the coffee system. Good luck elsewhere and I hope you enjoy other people's content more. x
