It's so clearly laid out from the elements of this story that this wasn't meant to be a standalone game. Can you imagine the developers behind this, putting in so much effort, knowing how much more story there is to it, and then.........
I absolutely love the aesthetic and atmosphere. The story and characters are well written. A movie / series based on this would probably be quite good. The franchise of games would probably be quite popular if they weren't console exclusive. Such a waste that we only got one game.
Sony, who owns the order IP, has renewed the trademark. Whoch, in the depths of my mind gives me hope that they are considering starting it back up. It wouldn't be with the ready at dawn team, though, as they're part of meta and do VR stuff now. But I hold put hope for a remaster of this then a sequel. Or two.
Should’ve kept his real name secret. Same with Percival. Then when Lafayette becomes Percival tease that that’s not their real names but a title (a lot like Kingsmen). Then at the end when Galahad sheds his knight name it’s revealed his real name is Van Helsing. That would’ve been perfect. With them talking about living for centuries I was ready to accept they were the remaining original Knights of the Round Table. I feel they revealed that, despite as old as they were they weren’t the originals, too soon.
This needs a sequel with the same love and care that the first one got. I can't believe I've never heard of this until seeing Fooster's videos. Amazing story, characters, visuals, atmosphere, and even the combat. This is criminally underrated.
I wasn't too invested (despite the cool werewolves and everything) in the first part, but they really ramped it up in this last half, I was glued- couldn't stop watching. I've actually really missed these types of games and storytelling. We just don't get stuff like this anymore.
You are not alone, it's great in my opinion. Nothing to do with my rig either. i9 32core, 64gb DDR5, nVidia 4090 with 32gb DDR5. 4TB SSD and liquid cooled. Silent and deadly. This game is great looking. Love the storyline too.
@@AjEdw I was waiting for someone to say just that. You took your time. I aint bragging, just happen to have a great rig and at the same time, no game to utilise it yet. Being really old it will be the last one I buy, hopefully it will last me up to the point where I am too feeble to play. What do you game on ? Don't worry, I wont think you are bragging.
The whole knights and the round table aspect I loved and I'm a sucker for anything werewolf.. was a good couple of days hanging out fooster. Keep up the great work
its really sad that we probably wont get a second part. i still truly enjoyed this so much! Gave me Van Helsing vibes through and through! thank you for sharing this
I am sad that women Knight Isi or what is she called, that she didnt found out what Gallahad was doing and why he did things that he did. She ended hating him, and she was pissed, and in the beggining of the game, she wanted to marry the guy, or she was just joking with gallahad or how she called him Grey(because of his age). She was acting more like out of jelousy becouse she saw him with other women and he kept her out of loop whe she asked him about it. She was very pissed, and didnt found nothing out. I am guessing because Gallahad didnt want her to know that her brother was a lycan and at the same time protecting the ORDER as a whole.
Some of the dumbest plot right there, and one of my biggest negatives for the game. He obviously loves the girl, but he ignores her when she starts to distrust him, lets her assume the worst for no good reason, and after all that never even bothers to try and defend himself or his actions.
@@Altair1243WAR As OP stated, he was likely protecting her. Everyone he confided in ended up dead or turned out to be working for Hastings. Plus her brother turned out to be a Lycan, so Galahad was either protecting her from finding out, or concerned she might also be a Lycan, working for Hastings. Initially, he clearly wanted to keep her out of any danger, and involving her in his investigation into the United India Company (with the Rebels) may have gotten her killed or arrested as a traitor, like he was in the end. I would be more negative about the fact she turned on him very quickly, having fought beside him and been mentored by him for years at this point. Knowing the kind of man he is, plus she had feelings for him, and yet she condemned him so willingly in the end. That was a negative for me. Otherwise, the world and story was interesting and the steampunk-like aesthetic was very cool.
I'm guessing there was meant to be a second game where she finds out after fighting against Galahad. Even finding out about the hooded figure. Shame it never happened.
That's the thing about storytelling like this. Is when the friends/colleagues that catch the protagonist doing something shady never give them the benefit of the doubt.
This bugged me a little bit first, because she's not even just his friend -- she was all but asking him to marry her. But then it dawned on me that she's jumping to these negative conclusions because she's jealous and thinking that he's 'seeing' the cute Indian rebel leader.
Yeah Igraine's jealousy didn't seem to fit. She should know and trust him better but the second she saw him with another woman she acted like a jealous teenager and said burn it all down!
1:34:40 , three bolts and a dream proceeds to take 3 steps and get insta headshot, I was crying and the “wait what….. what the fu” made so much more funny, love the channel Fooster thanks for part 2
@Fooster. Francis was a member of the 12th Regiment of Foot, basically he was part of the line infantry. Love seeing your videos, and glad to see you carrying on with this game
Man, there has been so many games that Fooster has been playing lately, sadly, NEED sequels!!! I would LOVE to see part 2 of this game. I think my favorite scene was when we found out they were shipping vampires. The sheer number of them was terrifying!
Honestly, my first thought on Lady Igraine's heavy nose-breathing was that she was sniffing for scents... Her brother was a Lycan, it was always a possibility she was too.
Commisioner Doyle was his name, and it's been rumoured his surname is a nod to Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, creator of Sherlock Holmes. It's all very cool. 😎
Fooster, I have been with you since your early days. Why so many of us enjoy watching videos of gameplay I don’t quite understand. What I do know is that what keeps me here with you is your unbridled passion and joy as you play. It’s so refreshing for a creator who has grown so much to remain true to the, “I just love to play games” mantra.
Favorite parts hmm let me think, how about EVERYTHING from the settings, artstyle, characters, dialog, monsters and weapons. The Order 1886 is such a gem, loved it from beginning to end. Sir Galahad is such a badass 🫡
Im enjoying this playthrough so much and the story is so intriguing. Especially the touch of James Bond at the start and hints of Van Helsing with weapons and other cultural stuff from movies is so good. The Ending was good accordingly and giving Batman Arkham series vibe xD. Thank you for continuing playing Fooster, love you man
The way Gallahad's luck was going I figured after Lucan turned back into a human, Igraine would show up. She wouldn't see a lycan she would see her brother and Gallahad tying to murder him. This whole thing was amazing! The story was cool! Fooster as always is just plain fun to watch play these games!!!
Thanks for the awesome upload! I watched part 1 yesterday and have been dying for part 2. Thank you for the swift upload and the great content. The Order is a great game with super interesting story and gameplay. I love all of the voice actors and characters, the atmosphere, the gunfight, and your giggles of glee as you use all of the insane weapons. Thank you, Fooster!
love it in games and movies where they use a crossbow, or a bow, and it takes them down all silent, lol but in real life, it's harder to take ppl out, with arrows and bolts, because most hits will not be lethal right away, and they will be in a lot of pian, so they would yell a lot hence making the weapons not the best at sneaking XD
i was gonna comment on the first video to PLEASE keep playing this so THANK YOU! I love Igraine so much! Shes so badass. I love how in the first video shes very restrained and professional, even with the banter. But as things start to get more serious and after she gets severely injured, she loses her subtlety in her advances towards Galahad. Her seeing him take off his armor AND slink around at dead of night with another woman musta really steamed her hams XD... I was hooked on this from the very beginning. From the level and sound design to the voice acting to the WICKED sci-fi gear...... I am in love. It's giving Dishonored/TLOU/AC: Syndicate. If you want an open world game, you may like Watchdogs Legion, especially if you enjoyed Cyberpunk 2077
