Please sir, I modeled and design a single story RC building in Etabs and decided to Cary out detailing of the structure using RCDC and CSI detail v18.
I discovered huge differences in Column details especially.
The column reinforcements generated by CSI details was way too high to my observation. Imagine where RCDC provided 4-Y16 bars for a (230 x 230)mm column, CSI detail was giving me 12-Y16 for same column. How can it fit in?
I believe the analysis results was same and I also want to believe I might be missing some additional settings somewhere in CSI details sir.
I really need your help in this sir as other structural members were similar in details but colums.
