- From the DVD of the movie "Who Framed Roger Rabbit", the special feature "Toon Stand-Ins". Italian Subtitles.
Dal DVD del film "Chi ha Incastrato Roger Rabbit" il contenuto speciale "Toon Stand-Ins". Sottotitoli in italiano.
Toon Stand-Ins is more on-set footage, although this time with some brief comments from the filmmakers, revealing shots from the Terminal Bar room brawl with the rubber stand-in characters in place for rehearsals, which were then removed and re-shot for the animation to be added in.

"No thanks Eddie! I may be a toon but I'll show you I can go out like a man!" Almost wish they kept that line.
Eddie Valiant: “I don’t wanna see you go out like a man, I want to see you drink the drink!”
Drink the Drink
They should release the toon stand in version whole immediately!
Man, making this movie must have been fun!
And a lot of work too
The stand-ins make one tense scene almost funny.

I don't know why, but I thought that this part was adorable.
Same here.
I like how parts of the rubber puppets fall apart as they go about the take 😂😂😂
Want an entire cut of the film that has the stand-ins.
2:05 - Whenever this happens, the toon always falls for it.
So they DID base the designs of the weasels from the Roger Rabbit out of the ones from Mr Toad. In Fact, Mr. Toad made a cameo in the movie during the Toontown scene.
Yep.
Yes he did.
I learned that part otherwise when I read the Disney Villains book.

R.I.P. Bob Huskins, a one of a kind Canadian American actor during the 70s, 80s, and 90s.
Uh… he was British not Canadian. Where did you get the idea he was Canadian? Lol
@@rexrabbiteer I keep forgetting that he wasn't born in Canada, but in the United Kingdom. I didn't realize that until I looked further into the actor that I realized he was british more than canadian...That was my bad on my end, just that I forgot to change it to British.
Weird how Christopher Lloyd had the toon hair in scenes where he's still human.
I guess it's not a wig and it was his actual hair.
Can someone make a fanedit combination of Roger rabbit film with Chinatown movie with the stand in toon scenes, the storyboard marvin acme funeral scene and the deleted pig head scene for the 30th anniversary of Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
“Crash” 😂😂😂
I would love to keep these live sized rubber weasel dolls
Drink the drink!
But i don’t want the drink!
@@King_Colombia_Inc He doesn’t want the drink.
@@robbiefarabee6954 He does!
@@BrandonKohout I don’t.
@@robbiefarabee6954 You do!
That is Amazing!
Who wanted one of those props as a kid? I wanted the Roger one clothes and all.
Cool
35 years ago today!!
so the Weasels including Roger are just plastic stuffed toy dolls!?-
This was probably made so that the animators get an idea of what they’re supposed to do
