A few thoughts . . . The military has been doing something similar for years only on different frequencies and with more bandwidth. The military stuff can pull full graphical web pages. Think of your cell phone using data. Make sure the antenna is down and stored during the Electo Magnetic Pulse, otherwise it will be fried. An EMP Shield can be overloaded. Remember that there are frequency detectors jammers which cover a broad spectrum. The devices are smaller than a briefcase.
😃I use the same system in CB band, or just above or just below the free band, I connect the PC to the CB and receive and transmit automatically from all over Europe, I recommend selling the bunkers with CB radios with SSB sidebands and GMRS radios and a scanner receiver
Good video, been looking at data modes over air options and want something like this and Mesh nodes too. We need to get more people into this to enrich the available network of like minded people. (or right minded as that may be) Also, this ham gear can pull down weather fax pictures and if you understand it is slow like the modems of the 90's the sky is the limit for small files. There is also a sort of Wikipedia called lighthouse that is satellite based too. Just understand quality video isn't happening.

Ron: even if you don't do this right away. You should think about adding conduit from your bunkers to a location away from the bunker so an antenna can be added later. A few hundred dollars for conduit now isn't much on a bunker.

I love digital modes, I often run FT8 on 20 meters. These weak signal modes allow global communications with low power, it really is amazing.

That's great news we love it. What the cost plus we live in Australia. Can we make it work here as well. This great everyone that a wake needs this.
i know a few stations using this technology in Australia.
So, it is a HAM radio for computers. Just a word of caution, radio signals can be triangulated and they can also jammed.
Yes, but who would care to do that after shtf?

Urge everyone to get their license and then go from there if you are a real prepper a lot depends on conditions of the bands !
band conditions matter much less with the modes used in this video. these modes work "under the noise" with low power.
