This was actually my 1st experience with a Capella sound. I was so surprised by the base when I heard it because I have never heard someone go that low, but I have since heard that Geoff does go lower then that, lol. I also upgraded to headphones finally as well so myself and viewers of my videos can hear the sound of the music better. You think that bass is low? (And his range at that last bit is unreal). Check out his cover of Misty Mountains Cold from the Hobbit. If you are into gaming, they recently did the theme from HALO. I am not a gamer, but it is pretty impressive. I think that Voice Play's most most iconic attribute is their theatrical approach to all the songs. Even when they are just basically standing singing there's a lot of drama. But they really really stand out when they go the whole bit with costumes and characterization. I'm glad you found them and you were so honest about your reaction reaction I hope you check them out further. ( And I don't know if it matters to you, but I thought I'd mention that they do all of the arrangements, lighting and production which to me just makes it more impressive.) One suggestion: When you were watching the video you were looking one way and the screen was on the other direction. It was really hard for me because I love watching their actions but I also wanted to watch your face and I kept having to go back-and-forth. If you could possibly put the screen on the opposite side , that would really help some of us who like to watch two things at once. Especially with voice play it's important because so much of what they do is enhanced by what we can see on screen.
If you like low bass you should hear Peter Holland and Tim Foist doing Misty Mountains. You should also watch the modern bass battle between Jeff, Avi Kaplan, and Tim Foust.
For reference, Geoff can sing down to an E1 in sub harmonic, which makes it sound super low like that. Probably a miss quote on the subtitles LOL subterranean is funny though

It said (subterranean) Man because when he said "Man" at the end, his voice was so deep it actually goes off the normal music scale so they illustrate that by saying it's subterranean.
The low notes are called "subharmonics" they're very rare to be able to pull off and almost sound non-human. That low note at the end, like most, is often written as "subterranean" in captions. then the word he's saying MAN! Hope that helps with any confusion.

I know NBC is a studio but Nightmare Before Christmas would not fit in my title so I went with that to shorten it. There is no song title reversal. Its just Oogie Boogie Song from the Nightmare before Christmas a Voiceplay cover. Thats what its supposed to be but i had to shorten it so it comes out looking like that. I actually copied their title and just shorted it to fit in my reaction video title. So there is actually no mistake here.

I understand that, there are some videos I stop a lot and there are some I only stop a few times. This is just how I do things. I also just started doing these reaction videos for fun like a month ago so I'm not like super invested in trying to make everyone happy.
