Hello, Thank you for taking the time to watch our video and share your thoughts! Greatly appreciated the time you took to share. Our video wasn’t intended to come across as a Lichtsinn RV ad and I must say nor was it sponsored by Lichtsinn. Rather our main goal was to share helpful information based on our experiences that may potentially help future EKKO/RV owners, when considering making such a decision. We’ve had such a great experience with Lichtsinn RV, and we continue to appreciate their professionalism, guest-focused approach, and commitment to service. Naturally, we wanted to share those positive moments with our audience. At the end of the day, our aim is to provide honest and straightforward information-whether it’s about a dealer, a product, or an experience we’ve had. We simply enjoy sharing what we’ve learned in hopes to help others.
We had the opportunity to purchase our Trekko from Lichtsinn (Renae, Jeremy, and Cade [our dedicated service tech]) before Ekkonesters and everything they said in this video is absolutely true. I was personally very skeptical since car and RV dealerships have the reputation of not being honest. Consequently, I was very short and not too nice to Renae (hope that you forgive me Renae). Yes, there are many dealerships with bad reputations but this one is the exception. I hope that it continues to be a stellar dealership in the years to come. When we had our PDI, we noticed a hard scratch on one of the kitchen cabinet doors. Well, before the RV was delivered to us, Lichtsinn had changed the door with a brand new one. They were able to replace the door so quickly because they are 1 mile away from the factory. Cade (our service tech) got on the phone and called someone at the factory and a carrier from Lichtsinn went over and picked up the new door right away. There was no wait time for the factory to mail the door to the dealership because they are basically next to each other. Jason accurately described how Litchsinn will treat you after the sale. You will be treated like a family member. We have visited the dealership several times (either passing through or for a recall fix) and that family member feeling comes through every time we are there. I have asked other Litchtsinn customers if their experience have been like ours - every time they have agreed with us. If you are on the market for a Winnebago RV, you may want to consider Lichtsinn RV. It was a pleasure dealing with everyone at Lichtsinn and it continues every time we are in the area (long after the sale). Lichtsinn is a family-owned dealership and it is not like those huge (corporate) dealerships that all they care is making money. Just browse other channels and watch/hear all the horror stories RV owners have with those dealerships. Here is one of them - www.youtube.com/@TheRVWingman. Best wishes!
I appreciate watching your video's as I've learned so much about the Sprekko. I'm looking forward to buying one and will be going through Lichtsinn RV as well and flying out of Central California and driving back.
@@PaulZelis thank you so much for taking time to leave a comment and share your thoughts. Keep us posted as you move closer to your purchase. Love to hear what your experience was like. I’m sure you have contact info. But if you need a direct number and referal. Here is Renae’s number she was amazing as was the entire staff. 641-585-0612.
Thanks for sharing this. It was really kind of cool to learn a lot about the Winnebago that you purchased. However, my wife and I have decided to go a different way as I found a company that will build a box that is four seasons to what we want and I can put on a truck.
@ I was gonna go with a Winnebago Ekko but with all the benefits of getting design of a box that works for my wife and I and the way we’d like it done is much better and at a significant cost savings.
That’s a great question! In terms of retail pricing, EKKOs typically range from $225K to $250K without additional options or upgrades. However, it’s not uncommon to find one priced between $175K and $185K. If you’re looking to add options like the ones we’ve included, those can range from $15K to $25K, depending on the products and labor involved. I hope this information is helpful! Thanks for checking out our video, and I hope you have an amazing day.
@TMI_KOO you are very welcome. Thank you as well for checking out the channel as mentioned previously. What chassis if you don’t mind me asking is your Winnebago built on? I believe here in the US they might be Dodge pro masters. I took a look at your TH-cam channel. Looks like you have some pretty awesome content. I’m going to have to figure out how to use a translator on the videos if you have a suggestion that would be great. I’d like to check out your content further.
Let me look and see if there is a way for it to be translated. That’s a great question and a good opportunity to look into. If you don’t mind me asking, are there different dialects of Korean? This might help as I do my research to understand.
That was the best 35 minutes Lichtsinn Rv ad I have seen so far...
