Gladiia still my favorite operator since her release. She's literally the reason why I decided to build the Abyssal Hunters squad in the first place, and by extension, the reason why I keep playing the game. She has been my squad captain since Under Tides event, and she never left my main squad.
She's a really good character with good versatility. Her kit make a good use of te pusher archétype but also make her usable in way more situations than pulling enemies. The fact that she can be deployed on melee AND ranged tiles add to her versatility. The pull mechanic can cancel enemies' attacks and skills if well timed, and it also add on another layer of survivability on her who is already tanky enough thanks to her talent and other Abyssal Hunters members.
I love playing her, she's my first and only M9 unit.
I decided to only talk about Gladiia because if I started talking about other operators it would become a script for my own 10 top vidéo,and I don't want to edit, so here a short version of some operators i like using and why I like them :
-Ines, great versatility. Being a fast redeploy makes stages more interactive.
- Reed alter, it's so satisfying to see enemies explode with her skill 3 or bosses melt with S2. And her vouce is ASMR material.
-Weedy, cute, 155cm the perfect size. Sweet voice. Funny gameplay and her canon give her some layers of utily.
never let go of ines the way she works, it just its literally invaluable the way she’s built will last her probably until the world fucking explodes. she’s like. really good for IS and RA2 and just about literally any content like. Christ
There are also players whom have units that have serviced them all throughout the game.
2 of my favourites: even though underrated in the community.
-Blaze as her lane holding is great and her talent is also a cheat death and gains resistance as well. Even with module she is just great and shes been around a long time.
-Firewatch, she used to let me have tonnes of fun in the game finding out if her version of Camo would completely negate mechanics and her damage per hit is really good. Additionally you could place her far away and to pick off annoying enemies (like ranged arts damage) because of her trait targeting lower armoured enemies first.
What you said about Texas alter is exactly what I feel every time I borrow her from a friend lol
Even Degenbrecher has a bit of a wind up time and doesn't feel that dirty to use, meanwhile texalter is literally just a "whoops I misplayed, need help" button. I rly love her design but I only use her when I'm on the edge of giving up on the stage
can you explain why degenbrecher is seen as so no skill?
@@joemahm her skill 3 neglects the only downside of her archetype (swordmaster) which is having to actually hit enemies to generate SP. Shes literally just a panic button that will nuke everything when you press her skill
Dont get me wrong, i love using her since shes one of my stronger ops, but there is no brain involved at all when using her skill 3
Just for the most extreme anecdote about Hoshiguma, I don't think I've thought of how to use a different strategy to defeat Clip other than having her be the number 1 best tanker in the game to stop him in his tracks, stopping Clip from picking off everyone on the field in rapid succession. Hoshiguma is the core operator for many of my boss strategies.

Five second Bind on Ines from the initial attack is soo good. Gives her time to hold the lane she's defending. s3 Bind can also catch the same enemy multiple times.
Reminder that Hoshi is 6ft tall...😏
Valarqvin is the tallest female operator though

Funnily enough Hoshiguma was like THE first 6 star I got nearly 3 years ago. She hard carried me in early game

is it common to get Hoshi or what, cause she was my 2nd six star ever, and I used the heck out of her. Hard carried pretty much all up til chapter 5.
Damn i just type the exact same thing.
Been playing since day 1 and I just got my hoshi with the top operator recruit today. Now I can play all my afk brain dead lane holding properly.

i got ines recently after watching your vids and it’s probably why i gave ines a chance, and damn she’s good.

Hoshiguma the slab. No bells and whistles, just pure meat.
I remember getting Thorns for 180 gold certs back in the day then i used him like 3 times or so and ever since i got Qiubai I never even thought about using him, but this comes from someone who has all of their six stars at E2 so i can use whoever i want and i still clear everything, also Texas is the most boring mid character ever
Pros : Qiubai,Hoshi and Ines made the list +60pts
Gavial on honourable mention +10 points
Cons: WHERE ARE SAILEACH AND GAVIAL THE INVINCIBLE -10000000 PTS
From my conclusion and points system, I must duel you, now put'em Mr TH-camr
I don't own either saileach or gavial alter, however gavial alter is my most wanted unit

Regular Eyja and Texas were the staples for me back in the day. Nowadays I mix n match more, but usually keep Typhon and Eyja alter as staples.
Lezzgo Bloopy~ blue poison to this very day is my #1 operator, From the very first day I got to play arknights and got her on my beginner 10x pulls, I love her sm. Heck I even started doing pinknights niche because I like her GG, and Pozy.

a little information, thorns new module can stack her poison damage, making it deal lot more damage...(He can take down patriot 1st phase alone with warfarin buff, even tho patriot has lot of def and res even after using landmine)
so if you love thorns, max her module once it out on EN server...
Oh trust me, I've been super excited for that module to drop!

It's all personal, no wrong answers here in a 'my favorite top 10 operators' list, but I'm actually surprised Mlynar didn't make the list! Blue Poison was also my first real sniper that I got and I used her allllll the time until I got Exusia. Since then she's pretty much collecting dust outside of the occasional usage in SSS but I get the nostalgia-factor there.
I'd probably say mine is:

Mlynar is a unit that I have, but haven't used at all, mainly cuz I know he's super strong, but I'm not a huge fan of his design
It's always nice to see respect for Hoshi, she was shit on for ages and called niche at best. But if you need someone to just say no to damage and hold the line or play a game of ' stop hitting yourself' there is no better option.
As for my top ten in order.
1. Gravel, best girl, best design, best voice and best 4*
2. La Pluma, she is our best daughter. Perfect combination of adorable and deadly
3. Gavial both. Strong, attractive, hell of a personality and just a good unit as a 4* and top tier 6*.
4. Eunectes, thighs....enough said. But really her S2 is one of the best stuns in the game and she has been a 1v1 boss killing machine for me.
5.Ceobe, big dumb doggo who has carried me as my arts damage for ages. My first 6* caster.
6. Lappland, my first 5* (excluding Amiya) even before I got a 4* and she carried me for 80% of the game. She almost never leaves my squad and imo is the best lord.
7. Kal the ex wife. True definition of Harmasist and I'd argue still the best source of true damage.
8.Siege, my go to Vanguard. I have bagpipe, flametail and Saga but no one will replace her. Solid all round.
9.Cantabile, love her character and just a very good Vanguard.
10. Changes a lot from time to time so I'll just put a combo here, Reed and Vitruosa. Reed S3 and Vitruosa S2 just pair so well that one can never come without the other and together they can 2 op clear so many stages.
Noticed missed Hoshi myself, forgot because I mentioned her at the start. She is firmly in 3rd place. And is my go to defender.

Three that never leave my squad

Ifrit is still the one that I always have in the squad even if I don't place her. Second is Murdrock. Third is probably Saga even though I only got her recently. I get happy every time I hear her shout stuff.
Haha I used to defend hoshi back in the day saying she's a pretty good op when the game first came out, think she + silverash were my first six stars. She did get a lot of hate in the first year because she was more of an aggressive tank or too tanky and everyone ran Saria instead or Cuora / Nearl for healing or cheaper alternative since you didn't really need Hoshi's tankyness for most content and at most only at short times but then Cuora could fill the same spot or even perform better during those short windows. There was also the whole vibe with her being too big or sweaty, I remember Tectone calling Hoshi the big sweaty gorilla woman or something like that and that was pretty much how most ppl started looking at her.
Then as we got tougher content and she got her mods she started to get used again. While I don't know all the tanks I think that overall with S2 she is still the toughest tank overall but she can't reach the same lvl of tankyness some of the other tanks can reach for a short while, but I think she is the only one with a chance to resist all damage with 25-32% (+3%) chance on every hit she takes since I believe this works for physical, arts and true damage. While most other characters only get really tanky vs phys or arts dmg but almost never true dmg but Hoshi is strong vs all three. Her 0 res doesn't make her all that good vs arts dmg but the resistance to dmg still applies so if your RNG is good she is still the best.
I feel the exact reason for Typhon. don't think i'll ever remove her from my squad and complete the is-4 just for her skin.

Some of my favorites are: Blue Poison ( I also get her as my first 5 star!) Kroos alter, Firewhistle, Harold, Jaye, Pinecone, Arene, Cutter, Schwarz, Kal'tsit, Jessica alter, Dusk, and Shu.

She’s not meta, but I love her character and design (and coincidentally was my first operator ever pulled)

Actually, I looked at my list on AK Amino and BP is actually #7 right now.
Most of my favorites are for story/aesthetic reasons rather than gameplay. Gameplay would probably make a completely different list.
