Peopleeee... after all my troubles of changing out the actuator and the hub basket.. none of it worked. Wouldn't drain and would just hum at odd times.. couldn't get past the wash cycle..turns out I had a bobby pin stuck in the white part of the pump in this video. Just take take off the assembly like the video before you buy a new one and shake it around and inspect in there for something. Bobby pin fell out, put it back together, did the recalibrate code and my old lady can finally shut up. I love you all this is the greatest success story of my life.. I was down for the count.. now I'm living the good life.. with clean clothes.
1:51 What if the wire going to the drain pump, one of them is out. What would I buy to replace that wiring harness or can I put the wire back in somehow?

Great video and you got me all fired up to go downstairs and pull that pump off and check for trash in the impeller. However my Sears Kenmore Top Loader is nothing like your's though the pump is on the bottom as you clearly showed. . The impeller on this model seems to be conjoined to the same electric motor that operates the agitator/basket(?) and the thing is jammed between that(motor) and the side bulkhead and I ain't got a clue as to how to access without cutting a hole in the sheet metal panel!
My pump is actually functioning but stuck in a constantly on mode....it pumps the basket clear effortlessly but will never shut off even when the power is turned off to the unit. I can unplug the unit and replug the unit and still it remains on every time I plug it in power button showing machine is off
why have i spent an hr in a horrible hot bathroom trying to take the cover off the washing machine as seen in other videos when i could just lay the machine down????/ grrrrrrrrrr thank you. i will try that in the morning
Your videos don't explain trouble shooting the components. Like on this one, the pump how to check if it is really broken? Maybe there is some stoppage in the drain line, or also how to run power directly to the pump to see if if functions. Or here is another one, opening up the pump to make sure that there isn't anything jamming the pump. I don't know these are all common questions that should be talked about in your videos.

Could this be the reason why I keep hearing a humming noise and it's not cycling? FYI I did replace the actuator... still had no luck.
I hate my life plz kill me
My washer 110.21392010 is leaking from the bottom and I'm not sure if its a drain pump issue or bad hose/ hose clamps. Pls help.

Take this off and inspect it. If in doubt its $21.84 on Amazon. There is a way to test continuity on it but not on this video
