- The Urge: The holy guarantee of murder. Durge reclaims her "bloody birthright" and slays Orin.
The "Inheritance" you are given is a level 9 Enchantment spell called "Power Word Kill" which compels an enemy with 100 hit points or less to die instantly. It can only be used once per campaign/playthrough.

In this playthrough I chose all of the evil/bad/non-resist options (except a few that I refuse to do like cutting off gales hand, karlachs head, and killing steelclaw).
And if it wasn't obvious, I am romancing Astarion (he is ascended here) in this playthrough hence his "dowry" comment. :) - เกม

@@Walnutty I do have the deluxe physical for PC but prefer to play on Xbox. More accurate attacks etc.
The only baffling part is that Astarion thinks you'll be doing the naked sitting on HIS lap in the end instead of the other way around.
I'm really not one for toxic relationships. But oh my god is it interesting to see him and the dark urge become the worst versions of themselves.
It seems somewhat hypocritical of Shadowheart to reproach you for embracing your urge and accepting your father Bhaal when she did the same with Shar.
Tbf there is a difference between backstabbing goddess of darkness and quasi deity of "murder all you can" club. It's not a big difference but I wouldn't personally pick bhaal as my sugar daddy either.
Shar at least pretends to be nice, Bhaal actively encourages his followers to murder and backstab each other.

They are safer with you than against you. The eye of the tornado is the safest point in its proximity.
The only two that make sense is ascended Astarion and Minthara, everyone else I was waiting for them to leave the party but then didn't. I was definitely like 😮
exactly this! I think the game does an amazing job with dealing out consequences for your actions but I kinda hope they would be more liberal with their disapprovals when it comes to really evil shit like this. Like my approval rating didn't budge for anyone other than Gale i think and even still I don't think I lost more than 5 points @@babydragon4813
All of the companions shown are the ones who are comfortable with evil choices.
Was really disappointed when Orin disintegrated, cause I always pick up the boss’ bodies and would put them in my camp in the Elfsong lmao. After a while, Raphael’s body turned red and even trying to loot it or look in his inventory would make all the companions in my camp mad, like I was walking around in an NPC’s restricted area lmao.

I LOVE your Durge’s look, especially the face scar. It’s almost like Orin cut her face open and ruined her eye when she put the tadpole in and that feels sooooooo much worse than just like a hole drilled in the back of the head

Goddamn every attack was a crit wth is that build
It’s a great weapon fighting build! If you paralyze a target it’s not guaranteed but you will always get crits. I got that ability via a locket I got from that sharan doctor in act 2 (I think - I’m going off memory haha)

Gotta love the simplicity of the fighter. I was there fidgeting with spells and potions and buffs, she just walks in and attacks 6 times and there's that. Very nice!
I have to say, this fight is very easy if you are going the fully evil route. I'm doing a Durge good Honor Mode run and fighting her slayer form proved too much for my tav... lost the duel and had to call in the rest of the gang :(

Did you become a spawn?
I’m debating turning my durge run into a lovers to enemies with astarion by not becoming his spawn and taking over the world for bhal to out do astarion. I’ve been trying to find some dialogue to see if it’s worth doing lol 😂
I did! I played it as her trusting him that he would ascend her/bring her to his level as well but once he starts showing his true colors as the ascendent (mostly how he talks to her and trying to exert power and control over her) she grows resentful and turns that into fuel for taking control of the brain and thus winning the little game of chess the are playing. Ngl, these new additions with the dark three really overshadow the mindflayer plotline. They could have cut the mindflayers entirely and the plot would not have changed. Since the tadpoles have no real effect in the story. They even went back on gale’s magic hunger that is suddenly cured at the start of act 2 by elminster.
Honestly wish they would have dropped the mindflayers. The ridiculous ultimatum from Bhaal that Durge must become the absolute kind of ruins the fun of wanting to do a dark run. From an RP standpoint point, it doesn't feel right to take the companions down their 'darker' routes but redeem Durge... But that's the only way to get the complain epilogues

She really was no challenge for the Slayer form. I killed her before she took one turn

Its just a battle master fighter build! With the feats great weapons master, savage attacker, and +2 on strength with ability improvement. I used the base starting fighter stats the game gives you.

I'm actually not using any mods on her! In this pt I had her take the justiciar route so her hair style changes a bit but color doesn't

As you level up fighter you get more attacks! I was level 12 at this point so she went into the fight a fully fledged fighter.
Sorry if this is a late comment but where did you get gale and shadowhearts armour from??
I think SHs is from basket of equipment and gales is from slutty menswear. Both are in my modlist in the description.

Well in durge run when you get slayer form and you do as bhaal wants she doesn't get it so she can't use it.
@@GRIMHOOD99 oh? so if you get slayer form she doesn't? good to know....at least one of my durges is gonna have a rough time then because I'm playing a redemption durge who also doesn't use mind flayer abilities. (Astarion at this point is just carrying around all the tadpoles in his inventory in case I ever decide to have someone in the playthrough use them.)

i have a question, is dark urge tav immortal? i mean, like astarion, both if they accept the power or not?
If durge accepts power, their goal is to end all life on faerun in the name of their father and they would be the final death. So immortal or not, durge will kill themselves if their plan goes accordingly! And a durge that accepts power but then doesn't bring that vision about (aka destroys the netherbrain) either kills themselves before bhaal can or bhaal makes them go mad. Regardless, I don't think the power makes durge immortal nor are they to begin with since in bhaalspawn lore it refers to them being "bhaal's mortal progeny" or variations of that. But hey its your game - headcannon whatever you want! I like to think that when withers revives a resist durge and says that while he lives durge will live it's literal and durge is then immortal haha! :)

I think... She would technically be his grandaughter/great granddaughter. Since he's formed directly from Bhaal, genetically he's 100% Bhaal (kind of why it's trash that you lose the Slayer form of you got it in act 2 if Durge rejects him). With Sarova being Bhaals son and both Orin and her mother's father.
If we go by the dynamic of Durge being dubbed Bhaal's child, she'd be his niece/grand niece.

Yes there is if you go back to the tribunal (assuming you didn't already kill him). When you go back he basically congratulates you and then attacks you in an attempt to usurp you haha

Why when i fight duel with orin she in slayer form?
This is the only time in my many playthroughs that she wasn't in slayer form so I think she stays in her normal humanoid form if durge has the slayer form/is doing an evil run. I may be wrong, but I have only done a full evil durge route once and what happened there is what you see in the vid.

Yes there are two mods on nexus that can increase your party limit - both work great. You will need script extender tho :)

How did you get 6 attacks?!
This is a pure Fighter build (battle master subclass) so you get more attacks as you level up that class and you get action surge which basically lets you get a second round for free (not exactly how that works but its the simplest explanation haha). I also have the great weapon master feat here which can also give you an extra attack :)

No it’s optional, being a dark urge where you have murderous/evil impulses is separate from the normal story line where you don’t have murderous/evil impulses and blackouts, you have to choose dark urge in character creation. Dark urge is a character that you can create that has a special story line, so the events of the normal story is mixed with the special story of being dark urge.
Are wyll and karlach dead?
wyll 100% is because durge killed him herself. karlach idk - she left the party once we started raiding the grove haha
