    ... about that kick-start... you should get (or build) a capacitor man. These new(er) EFI bikes don't start / run very good without batteries. So that kicker will only help you in you have a little juice left in your batt! If you install a small (25v 10,000uF) capacitor -- you shouldn't even need a battery connected at all! I might put a little vid together to show others how to build one.... (as was shown to me!)

    The rear fairings on my old ride flared a bit and made it easy to get a good hold when squeezing with my boots. Not so much on the 2021 RRS. I installed a set of Steg Pegz, and they are glorious for hill climbs

    Thanks for this man. I just bought one used with only 3 hours on it. 🥳

    Alum skid plate that covers more of the engine is way better. I have the same problem with the batt. Kick start a must. Adding 2 pounds is not going to slow you down. Good customer service, having all desirable parts available is another reason Beta is looking to be a great bike.

      I might have to look into some alum skid plates then as it’s so nice to know the underside is protected. I was very excited when I learned that I could add the kick start! Everything that I’ve experienced with Beta’s customer service has been excellent so I’d be happy to buy more Betas.

      Couldn’t agree more. Enduro Engineering Alum skid plate = piece of mind

    Kickstarter isn't going to help much if the Battery is dead and the fuel pump isnt running up to pressure. 1st thing i bought for mine is the Steel Oil Pump Gears

    Really easy to balance your own tires I made my jig out of wood and ordered weights off ebay

    did you say it came stock with a 15t front sprocket? Didn't even know that a 15t sprocket would fit

    • @mikey201292
      @mikey201292  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes sir. It also came with the 13 tooth, which I installed because its much better for woods riding for me.

      @@mikey201292 that's interesting to hear. Would make it a serious adv bike candidate for me. Thank you for replying sir!

    You need a better skid plate and linkage guard

    Thanks for the advices! Is the rear frame strong enough for luggages ? Is it made of aluminum or strong plastic?

    Thanks for the informative video, as I'm looking to get a Beta 390 or 430 or 500 RR-s through the BYOB program, with some added accessories, as you have done. Could you tell me,if you considered the other bikes, that I have listed, besides the 500 and if so, what made you go with the 500. I also ride alone a lot, and have heard, from another U-Tuber, that he got the kick-start, on his 500, but has not be able, to kick it over (so far) and start the bike . I will probably get the kick-start anyway, but can you tell me, if you have used the kick-start to start your bike. Thanks for your time.

      I looked at the husky and the Ktm as well but I did end up liking the Beta the most. The Beta comes with more power from the factory which is a nice bonus. Overall, the Beta comes more ready for off-road from the factory compared to the KTM and Husky. You should check out my other video comparing them and for all my reasons behind buying the Beta. It can be a little difficult to kick start but mine works (I've used it on a few occasions not because I needed to but just to try it out) although I've read some other comments on my videos with people having issues kick starting.

    $400 for a kick start, $245 for the KTM kickstart kit. How's the power compare to KTM 500

    • @mikey201292
      @mikey201292  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      it feels significantly more powerful (assuming both machines are stock). There are upgrades you can do to the KTM to make unleash its full potential but it is kind of a pain in the butt.

    Have you tried connecting the front blade (the one in your driveway) to your Beta?

    Get rid of the bead locks and you do not need to balance wheels!

    How good is the engine reliability ? Can you add ABS ?

    looks like you added about 25 lbs. to the bike.

      That’s possible. I guess I never added it up but I like having the extra protection and creature comforts haha.
