Just saw it and it is definitely a heartwarming movie and tear jerker. It's an outstanding movie. Thank you for making this movie and dedicating it to those who have lost their lives both dog and their handlers while serving in our military.

On these social apps I see so much animal cruelty and they are mostly dogs who suffer... I'm not saying that cats aren't suffering too... Every day I see a stray who was ran over... I cry then... So I don't want to say that cats are usseles, I see videos with cats that know when someone has a cancer...

Looks good but I thought the book "Saving Private Sarbi" would make for a better movie.The book is amazing I read it on a 26hr flight from NYC to Melbourne, AUS and it's about a EDD who gets separated from her handler over a fierce firefight between the Taliban and SAS/US Special Forces and is lost for over a year living in brutal summers and freezing winters all the while wounded and by a Enemy stronghold (Taliban are known for shooting EXplosive Detection Dogs) it is one a amazing story they call Sarbi the "Miracle Dog Of Tarin Kot".

Saw it. It's basically a Hallmark channel movie with a better camera and cinamatographer. Acting is poop. Children are better than some of the adults when it comes to it despite a script with bad dialogue. They portray the family as the clean cut american type where their son calls their father "sir" and even the son's military company are overly formal and polite on an online chat with his family, taking a number from Clark Kent. Several things wrong with the film, the dog isnt one of them. While PTSD is a very real condition that also affect animals as well they somehow made it unbelievable while playing the generic war sound affects around the dog barking. Maybe the image of the magesty and perfect lawn America contrasting the mad max middle east is a bit too much or the one "bad guy" who the dog doesn't like is a bit too much. Best to wait to see it in the dollar bin at the dollar store or thrift store.
