@Adam A. some cars aren't meant for manual and would be worse in some ways. Not that manual is bad. It's just that not everything has to be manual.
@Adam A. that’s true, but a proper mounted paddle shifting supercar is more fun that stick. You can see and feel the perfect shifts. Not saying a manual version of this car wouldn’t be a blast, but this car is built for top performance. Manual isn’t going to get you top performance unless you’re a top driver. Even then.. you’re not beating DCT.
@Adam A. GT3 is completely different. That lineup has been worldwide known as one of the best and engaging track cars to ever experience. You also don’t have a v10 nor v12 screaming at you. The GT3 sounds incredible, but some vehicles just don’t need a manual. A manual won’t make a Huracan more fun with its interior and overall design. The car has a crazy and futuristic interior setup.. a manual doesn’t make sense unless they make a futuristic retro model for example.
They made sure to make a super fun automatic. Not an engaging car first, then only offer automatic.
@Adam A. while I agree with you my point with the GT3 was that it’s well known many Porsche owners can drive stick and if they want to go track mode they will get the most engaging possible car, which has a manual. I agree that’s best for a car like that.
I’m saying when you have a car that screams at you it’s best to have lightning fast shifts. Those paddle shifters feel incredible and heavy to pull back. Ik you aren’t getting the FULL experience, but as a result you are getting FULL performance.
I’m just saying look at this car.. tell me it looks like it has a manual option (pretend you don’t know). It literally looks like a car that is purely trying to go for speed that is track capable. Then realize the Huracan is meant for DD. Ik crazy a Lamborghini? That’s why those seats are so comfortable and why they focused so much on making the parts durable etc alongside reliability there are Huracan owners with 100k miles with no issues.. imagine that from a supercar brand.
The Huracan just wasn’t built to be a manual beast with an automatic option. The GT3 is. Look at the cockpit in a Huracan you can’t even find a way for it to be a manual without changing a bunch of things, which unfortunately just won’t happen. That’s why I say this was built to be automatic, which is a pro because it’s perfect for what it is.
Now they need to make a car that’s a perfect manual. 911’s always did this best because they design their cockpits to be manual/automatic. As a result they can offer manual and their interior won’t change etc.
I agree this younger generation is crazy and I wish more manuals existed, but this isn’t the Huracans fault. It’s Lamborghini for not making a car built to handle a manual setup. Even then it’s not Lamborghini’s fault because they need to rack up their sales and they know automatic is the only real option for the future.
The PDK also is very engaging even in my dads Cayenne I love using them. Also let’s be real… if the viper was automatic.. tell me that vipers wouldn’t still be made to this day… they messed up by ONLY going manual. They needed to do both. Also the viper is one of the most dangerous cars money can buy. An automatic would help that (inexperienced drivers will always buy sweet cars. At least if it’s an auto there will be far less accidents).
I think we’re both on the same page, but you don’t get what I mean when I say some cars are built to be automatic. It’s really the interior structure that affects this for certain cars.
Porsche is the king when it comes to listening to their customers and always delivering what you want. That’s why I was saying it’s no surprise they offer a manual GT3, but guess what? They also offer an automatic, which is smart because it’ll help keep the car more relevant and see more on the road further increasing its popularity.
It’s all business at the end of the day. If Lamborghini could afford to make manuals you and I both know they would. It’s just sad that nowadays everything is going automatic and electric. My brother is a heavy tuner with his own shop and it was always a blast to see him built 600-1,000hp+ (600is his minimum) cars etc that he’d sell etc. I love manuals, but people today care about 0-60 times etc vs engaging performance. That’s why automatic has won and it’s very lame to see that manufacturers are getting more greedy too..

This isn't exactly offroad, it's just the first supercar in 25 years to not be utterly slammed/ruined for the sake of stance. I like it, I like it A LOT, it's the first supercar I could buy where I wouldn't have to spend an additional 25 grand fixing the suspension/tyres to deal with British roads.

The settings reminds me a lot with Forza horizon 5. Include the purchasable house!

@Robert Johnas I would say he is interfering with the companies privacy.Companies keep their prototype and new cars and tech secret for a reason.and he is just reaviling them and letting their rivals know about their future steps and techs.I just feel it is not right.If a company is trying to keep simething secret let them do it.Just like in F1 teams don't reavel any inside information for a reason. Just my opnion tho

Does it have an enlarged fuel tank and other off road gimmicks, besides front led lights, raised suspension and overfenders? Other than that, it's nice to see something like this. I bet some people will still drive this on the road, even with the capability to off-road.
