What a terrible entourage. How could they shoot down a dress that she clearly loves and is within budget? They are there for support. As for the first, overpriced dress, it didn't suit her. Too much going on.
I felt that last dress really flattened her out. It may have fit the bottom half of her but did nothing for the upper half. I just don't understand why they didn't show her more dresses.
@@janicewolk6492 Wrong. She did look very beautiful; however, she had a generous $10,000 budget. To go almost $6000 over was just plain wrong and greedy of her to do to her mother. Heck, she looked great in the blush dress she hated too, but what I am saying since she loved the last dress and it looked just as great on her she should have bought it and not listened to her friends.
I agree. If I was her, I would have gotten the first dress and paid the extra money for it. That was, and still is the best one. Screw her entourage! She's the bride, not them.
I came in prepared to hate the bride because she had a high budget, assuming she would be a spoilt diva but I really ended up liking her! The fact that she prioritized her education and was so polite really made her very endearing.
She's in her last year of dental school, so figuring that she got her Bachelor's degree at 22 (which is pretty normal for the US), then at least 4 years to get her Master's and her Doctorate she's probably at least 26. The medical school where my bro in law went to medical school did the Master's and Doctorate in 4 years, but a lot of other fields do the two graduate degrees differently and so do other medical and dental schools. She's probably either 26 or 27.
I'm very surprised they were all so against the first dress. I'm usually not a fan of mermaid style dresses, but that dress looked stunning on her and complemented her shape perfectly.
She has that 'gamine' youthful, petite appearance that doesn't suit heavy, elaborate, too sexy or mature styles. She could wear any of those 3 dresses and looked fine, but I don't feel any of them did much for her style wise in a sense of complimenting her personality and youthful appearance. I feel she needs something flowy, more relaxed and sexy in natural, understated way, less stiff and constructed, lightweight and not overpowering. I feel elevated boho or vintage vibes are way to go for her. Nothing less than antique lace with natural silk and hundreds of hours worth of hand work in one of a kind, bespoke couture gown is worth 10k.
@@MrsSlocombesPuddyCat I think so, too. The first dress looked amazing on her, but was ridiculously priced and the bodice of that last dress did not show her bust to advantage.
"She brought me here to be honest" Ma'am she has 4 months to find her dress. Your opinion doesn't matter YOUR HERE to like whatever SHE LIKES for the time frame she has.
If you don't want to hear their thoughts and advice, why bring them? Either you trust their taste and judgement and know they'll be honest so you end up with the best dress for you or you don't. And if you don't, why bring them?
It sounds like the bride has completely different taste in dresses than her entourage. Unless they are willing to look at things from her point of view, they'll never find a dress that makes her happy.
I agree. But I also feel that she wanted a dress that made her look older, while they didn't care about that aspect. Her remarks about the dress that she hated and everyone else loved, like "I wore this type of dress to prom," were all about making her look younger than what she wanted. If she maintains that desire without looking at the entire picture, they may not be able to find a compromise.
she said she was willing to compromise, she even would've gone for the pink ballgown if it just wasn't so AGGRESSIVELY pink. surely they could have found a dropped-waist blush ballgown to give the bride a more fitted look and satisfy mom's "pink ballgown" wishes. they probably just don't have one that's $9,000-16,000 so they didn't bother pulling it.
My husband and I eloped and years later, we're going to have a vow renewal that will be more like a wedding with a reception with family and friends in a couple years. This show has proven time and time again that when I'm dress shopping to go solo. No pressure, no opinions but my own.
The TV show producers makethem bring an entourage- and often it's the producers who pick it. Apparently to be on the show you have to submit information about your bridal party, close family and friends
For all the over-budget critics.... This bride came in saying that that $15,000 dress was the one she had been looking for. So the shop tried to find other ones that looked like that... which were also over-budget at first. I know that the shop usually goes over-budget, but in this case the bride opened that door first.
Oh how sad. This beautiful bride cannot make a decision. When I see a woman that can't make decisions on her own, I wonder how on earth is she going to be ready for marriage. She will never have an equal say with her partner. I wish her all the Best. xo
You really can get that idea from a short, edited clip like this. But I look up these brides and get a better idea of their lives through their social media. This bride seems to be doing fine, still married and they're both accomplished dentists.
I hate to say this, but some women still want their partner to make all the decisions for them as well. This is so totally opposite of what I would want for myself!

I honestly cannot understand spending that amount of money, on a dress you will only ever wear once for a few hours at most...then it gets stored for the next 30 years (never to be seen again)..😳.The first dress costs more than my car.
I wish these young ladies would stand for the dresses they love (as long as it’s not a budget thing). Too many people trying to please others and not themselves.

Good that she listened to them, the first one was hideous and waaaaay overpriced on top, and the last was soooo generic and boring. with her price tag and figure she can get sooooo much better
Her mums expectations were to much about her and not her daughters. You had your day to shine in your ballgown style, let your daughter have her day in what she likes.

The second dress was clearly the most flattering on her and the color looked gorgeous with her skin tone. I'm sorry, but fitted styles tend to look best when you have a more voluptuous body.
She would need to buy a sample since she had just 4 months. Kleinfelds should have offered her the 1st dress( the one she loved), at cost or just above cost since its a floor sample.
The more of these shows I watch the more I think there must be something seriously wrong with me. When I got married (about a hundred years ago) as I was shopping for a dress, the only person I thought of and wondered if he would like it was my fiancé and I knew that he loved me enough that he would have loved me in a potato sack. My mother saw my dress the first time on the day I got married! BTW, she actually loved it but again, she loved me enough that she also would have loved me in a potato sack. I went shopping all by myself (I was 30 years old, and I had been picking out my own clothes for a LOT of years) but if I had taken an entourage with me (which I do NOT recommend) and I found a dress I loved, I would have bought it even if everyone in my entourage hated it. I am the one that has to look through the pictures 20 or 30 years later. Incidentally, I was paying for the dress myself so that also gave me a lot of freedom to only think of whether I loved the dress.
The issue isn't the budget is that she is getting married in 4 months. So her options are limited to certain designs esp if her taste is expensive since many of these dress take an average of 6 months. She would have the same issue if she had a hired a designer to make her dream dress. Honestly with her wedding in 4 months she was better off going to David Bridal and finding a dress on the rack.
Not if the wedding is in 4 months, It's too short notice for a designer to make a dress esp a wedding dress in 4 months. Her best bet was to go to David Bridal and find a dress off the rack. The dress would cost her less than 10K and she can use the rest of the money to go on her honeymoon
@@HelenaRG71 i watch say yes to dress atlanta. There are bride where her wedding only a week. She is to picky and fail to find any dress at lori shop. So she find a designer and the designer manage to make her dream dress less than a week. I watch on tv
I don't feel that they pressured her to get that dress. They saw that her friends and mom hated every dress she loved and vice versa. That is very difficult to "compromise" with, and they were giving her advice. When in doubt, they told her to go with a dress that she loves and not worry about her entourage's feelings as much. And, as she did not purchase the dress, apparently the "pressure" was not extensive.
The actual dress was very pretty. But the bodice did absolutely nothing for her shape and made her look as flat as a pancake. It would have been soooooo much better with a different neckline.
Randy should have put a magic veil on her. Unfortunately, her time frame doesn't allow much room for unanimity. She should get the dress she loves and accept "like" from her entourage.
@@ang5798 Not hardly. Even when this episode was filmed, there were zillions of shops + options of online, consignment stores, thrift stores and even renting a gown!

10,000 isn't chump change. I didn't think the dress flattered her figure. It overwhelmed her. It was too much on the bottom and not enough going on the top.
The entourage was so concerned about the dress opinion then they should remind themselves that it's not their wedding. It's the brides own opinion they should support & it's their own fault that the bride had not found a dress on previous appointments because they couldn't keep their gobs shut.
$10,000 is more than enough for a wedding gown. She doesn't need to pay 15,400 for a qown. Education is very important and truely a wedding is one day, the marriage is important.
I wouldn't choose that pink dress for myself, but I feel that the mesh added a detail that helped with her small bust. The dresses she liked, especially the latter 2, accentuated her small bust in an unflattering way.

That appointment was tough for her, but I think she will learn to find a dress she loves. To be honest I thought the ball gown style looked great on her, although in white not pink. (Because she wants white) and with more crystals on the dress) Another thought was maybe something flowy, designed by a hailey page. I liked the dresses she wore. But some were more flattering for her. Anyways… I hope she will find a dress that will make her happy and confident:)

@@MrsSlocombesPuddyCat I hear you. From what the bride said, I took it that she was considering going over-budget because she loved the dress. I hope she found something she loved in time.

(I don’t believe in going into debt for it but if she could afford to) get it and pay the difference. Wouldn’t be fair to put it on mom (unless shes a millionaire and wants to spend that) but she glowed in it. Friends job isn’t just to be honest - it’s to help the bride find a dress for her wedding! If they had looked at how happy she was in the first dress and how much she loved it and reacted from there - I guarantee she would have walked away with one that day (and 4 month timeline is hard - I feel like the friend wasn’t taking all factors into account)
The bride's pick was gorgeous and within budget, but she said she wanted something her family loved, and they didn't love it, simple as that. Rather than listen to both bride and family, the store tried to push the bride into ignoring her family's feedback. As lovely as the dress was on her, I'm glad she stood by her desire to find something her family loved and didn't have to be manipulated into liking with an emotional "but look at her in a veil!" moment.
In previous episodes there were beautiful dresses for 3-5000 k. Why show only 10k dresses or up, just because the budget is there? Bit disappointed about the dresses they have shown her....

@@alisonfraser8231 it depends on whether they'd be allowed to sell her the sample. Usually they only do that when the dress is going out of season and they kind of want to get rid of it anyway. They're not going to sell the sample (or give you a discount) on a dress from a brand-new line.
I love how Lori and Monty have a rule never to put a bride in a dress that is over her budget
What a terrible entourage. How could they shoot down a dress that she clearly loves and is within budget? They are there for support. As for the first, overpriced dress, it didn't suit her. Too much going on.
The dress looked horrible on her. They were just trying to be nice. It would be good to see what she actually decides on.
Because they are telling the truth and it doesn’t suit her what’s the point on buying a dress that looks wrong on you just because “ you like it”
They all just wanted to be on a TV show. They probably already have a dress
I felt that last dress really flattened her out. It may have fit the bottom half of her but did nothing for the upper half. I just don't understand why they didn't show her more dresses.
Even though the first dress was over budget she looked stunning in it she even glowed when she had it on
No she didn't.
It was beautiful and she liked it.
@@janicewolk6492 Wrong. She did look very beautiful; however, she had a generous $10,000 budget. To go almost $6000 over was just plain wrong and greedy of her to do to her mother. It would have been different if it was $600 over budget. I also thought the 3rd dress looked just as great on her.
Actually, the bride's dream dress is $15,700. Actually, you're right. I absolutely think that she should have gotten the first dress.
I came in prepared to hate the bride because she had a high budget, assuming she would be a spoilt diva but I really ended up liking her! The fact that she prioritized her education and was so polite really made her very endearing.
How old is she?
She's in her last year of dental school, so figuring that she got her Bachelor's degree at 22 (which is pretty normal for the US), then at least 4 years to get her Master's and her Doctorate she's probably at least 26. The medical school where my bro in law went to medical school did the Master's and Doctorate in 4 years, but a lot of other fields do the two graduate degrees differently and so do other medical and dental schools. She's probably either 26 or 27.
I hope you learned sth out of this...
@@Sunny-cp1ir yea me too, like ready to hate someone with out knowing their intentions kinda... you lookinh kinda goofy 😶
so a high budget means someone’s spoiled?
I'm very surprised they were all so against the first dress. I'm usually not a fan of mermaid style dresses, but that dress looked stunning on her and complemented her shape perfectly.
…. But was it $15k worth of stunning? Nah.
Lol, beautiful dress yes. Almost $16,000 not so much!
It was hideous. Straight out of the 80s
I don't know what "gamine" is. I'll need to look it up!
Yes, the dresses were wearing her!
I totally agree blueice
Don’t think the third dress is flattering. The first one price was too much, but looked amazing on her.
What's your point?
Agreed Juli. First one was ridiculously priced but looked amazing on her. The third dress is lovely, but the bodice is very unflattering on her as is.
@@MrsSlocombesPuddyCat I think so, too. The first dress looked amazing on her, but was ridiculously priced and the bodice of that last dress did not show her bust to advantage.
agreed
Gotta believe they had better dresses in that huge store. Maybe not $10k but they have amazing dresses. I bet 2 dresses could spend that budget!
"She brought me here to be honest"
Ma'am she has 4 months to find her dress. Your opinion doesn't matter YOUR HERE to like whatever SHE LIKES for the time frame she has.
You are a very polite person to call the witch 🧙♀️ of a “friend” Ma’am!!!!
Exactly I agree
🎯
I wish her all the Best. xo
Amen
That's what my concern was.
Agreed. Knowing your own mind and being able to stand your ground.....are two of the most important life skills for a woman to have.
Good on you for not being pressured into buying a dress! Stunning girl anything will look great on you!
This girl is going to be 50 some day and still look 20. She’s got that youthful and beautiful face shape and features! I don’t know why they were all pushing for the pink dress, the girl wasn’t feeling it at all, just be supportive.
😲 In what universe is an extra (nearly) $6,000, classed as a "little bit over budget"!!!!
Yeah. I do understand where she’s coming from…Education is ALWAYS KEY!!
I sure do hope these “friends” were putting on an act for the drama of the segment bc with “friends“ like them….. who needs enemies🤬This is a beautiful young lady, obviously on the outside and has a sweet nature. Wish she could have stood up for herself to her “bully” “friends”.
Beautiful bride, when we try to please others we neglect ourselves.
#boundaries + #selfcare = #selflove
Not even one member of her entourage seemed loving in my opinion. I felt she has been dominated for so long. That now she's scared of taking a stand for herself.
Good that she listened to them, the first one was hideous and waaaaay overpriced on top, and the last was soooo generic and boring. with her price tag and figure she can get sooooo much better
@@wsfggf exactly very hideous, some people don’t have style and they know it that’s why they bring people to help them
$10k budget and all these dresses were terrible.
Her mums expectations were to much about her and not her daughters. You had your day to shine in your ballgown style, let your daughter have her day in what she likes.
I wouldn't pay more than $ 10,000 for the entire wedding!
I’m spending more than 10k bc I have the money for it with no stretch involved and want to lmfao, mind your business and your budget

@@isabellathompson6910 lol as if someone commenting on someone else's spending habits isn't being rude
The second dress was clearly the most flattering on her and the color looked gorgeous with her skin tone. I'm sorry, but fitted styles tend to look best when you have a more voluptuous body.
she’s so pretty and she looked good in each dress i love how she handle her school stuff first and did marriage stuff last
I hope she comes back and gets the first dress. That's the one she truly loves ❤ the most.
But her Mom is paying and it's wayyyyy over budget.
*10000 $ could be the Budget of the whole Marriage ceremony plus some left over too* 😇
Yup it’s ridiculous to spend $10,000 on the dress alone !!
She would need to buy a sample since she had just 4 months. Kleinfelds should have offered her the 1st dress( the one she loved), at cost or just above cost since its a floor sample.
if they still want to have that dress in store, they can't sell the sample. they don't usually purchase additional samples.
I love Randy’s sense of humor for the Bride 🥰🥰
Incidentally, I was paying for the dress myself so that also gave me a lot of freedom to only think of whether I loved the dress.
the bride sould try another dresses, there is a lot of options.. Let her pick what she want. it's 10K budget, oh please...
10k budget and still not able to give options to the bride ?! Seriously?
With her budget she can hire designer to make her dream dress
The issue isn't the budget is that she is getting married in 4 months. So her options are limited to certain designs esp if her taste is expensive since many of these dress take an average of 6 months.
She would have the same issue if she had a hired a designer to make her dream dress.
Honestly with her wedding in 4 months she was better off going to David Bridal and finding a dress on the rack.
Having 10k budjet and still wanting to ask what's the price!!
With 10k budget you can hire designer to make your own dream dress
within 4 months?
Not if the wedding is in 4 months, It's too short notice for a designer to make a dress esp a wedding dress in 4 months. Her best bet was to go to David Bridal and find a dress off the rack. The dress would cost her less than 10K and she can use the rest of the money to go on her honeymoon
@@HelenaRG71 i watch say yes to dress atlanta. There are bride where her wedding only a week. She is to picky and fail to find any dress at lori shop. So she find a designer and the designer manage to make her dream dress less than a week. I watch on tv
They go over budget even with $10K!?
This lady is beautiful. She will look great in anything. Girl you should have some convenience in your self.
Didn't like how Randy and the sales woman tried to pressure the bride in the dressing room to get the 3rd dress.
Right? They know she will only be happy if they validate the dress, that's just the way she is and some ppl need that assurance.
Is no one gonna talk about how nice the mum's look was for her wedding?👏🏽❤
She looked like a satin pillow
The Tosha girl who said that she 'hated' the first dress... Girl, envy is not a good look on you
I am glad she did not go with 3rd dress. It did nothing for her.
The actual dress was very pretty. But the bodice did absolutely nothing for her shape and made her look as flat as a pancake. It would have been soooooo much better with a different neckline.
Love Rand’s professionalism and how he handles the situation! Always a smile but with honesty and on the brides behalf❤️👍
Not so much trying to sell a dress more than 50% more than her generous budget and that mom is paying for and worst was not really flattering on her.
Randy should have put a magic veil on her. Unfortunately, her time frame doesn't allow much room for unanimity. She should get the dress she loves and accept "like" from her entourage.
I will be dress shopping alone😌👋🏾
After watching a lot of these videos, I have come to the conclusion that I don't like Tornay dresses. Just a bit cheap looking for the price tag.
(4 months) Randy: Why do they do that to us? XD
First dress was gorgeous
the first dress was DOGSHIT
Even with a 10,000. DOLLAR. BUDGET. These people will find a way to go over! 🤦🏾♀️

The friend with the silver top and white skirt...such a cute little outfit.
The bride was so sweet and the last dress was beautiful on her. I’m not surprised at how frustrated she got since her friends and mom didn’t seem to understand what she wanted.
I thought the dress made her look extremely flat-chested. They should have brought out more dresses for her to try. Sometimes the ones they don't think they are going to like, once put on, they fall in love with them.
Absolutely the dress didn’t flatter her figure. She looked so flat chested
This is the first time EVER that I didn't like any dress. The bride never showed that WOW as the mother said. No emotions towards any of the dresses.

Or keep it in case of emergency.
Even $5k is a ridiculous price for a dress that a bride will wear for a few hours!
@@BasicYTHandle that's right. I wouldn't pay 5k and I think it's too much for people with an average income. But in my hypothetical billionaire scenario I probably would have 5k as my cap.
When a bride is looking for a dress , the family should know that is her dress not theres
10,000 isn't chump change. I didn't think the dress flattered her figure. It overwhelmed her. It was too much on the bottom and not enough going on the top.
I meant to say is the family should support the bride for chooesing the right dress for her , like you can try better dress
That last dress was stunning and looked amazing on her
The entourage was so concerned about the dress opinion then they should remind themselves that it's not their wedding.
It's the brides own opinion they should support & it's their own fault that the bride had not found a dress on previous appointments because they couldn't keep their gobs shut.
She was drop dead gorgeous in the third dress, family and friends being so unfair
The bodice was a little unflattering on her. But it was a gorgeous dress over all.

$10,000 is more than enough for a wedding gown. She doesn't need to pay 15,400 for a qown. Education is very important and truely a wedding is one day, the marriage is important.
lmaoo that passive aggressive “let us do our job” i love it!

Her mother shouldn't want her daughter to wear what she likes. Because she paying for the dress she wants to pick the dress that is blackmail.💔🤣
Anyone else see a random dress in the background and are like "THAT ONE! THAT ONE!" ??
I can’t believe they like that peachy colored dress over the first stress. The first dress looked incredible on the bride.
Hate the mesh thing on the top of the pink dress. Personally like princess dresses without ruffles.
I wouldn't choose that pink dress for myself, but I feel that the mesh added a detail that helped with her small bust. The dresses she liked, especially the latter 2, accentuated her small bust in an unflattering way.
If she's from Louisiana, maybe she should have travelled to Georgia instead of NYC and booked an appointment with Lori and Monty!
They definitely pressured her to make a decision and didn't serve her well! I hope she goes somewhere that won't rush her like that. What a horrible experience.. I know that never would have happened with Gok!
The pink dress was gorgeous on her💕Just Sayin! They all were beautiful but the Pink was the bomb! I think add white veil and white flowers and white pearls....girl xx
The 1st dress is gorgeous
That appointment was tough for her, but I think she will learn to find a dress she loves. To be honest I thought the ball gown style looked great on her, although in white not pink. (Because she wants white) and with more crystals on the dress)
Another thought was maybe something flowy, designed by a hailey page. I liked the dresses she wore. But some were more flattering for her. Anyways… I hope she will find a dress that will make her happy and confident:)
she’s already got $10k budget thats tooooo much and fr why th they give her the $15k dress😵💫😵💫😵💫
Just to remind, the bride showed a picture on her phone of the actual dress she wanted which was the $15,700 first dress. She was beaming when she had it on, and I thought it looked lovely on her.
@@LisaLGruman But that makes no sense. The dress in the photo was $16,000 and the dress on the hanger was $16,000. But she went in with a $10,000 budget. Talk about setting yourself up for disappointment from the get go.
@@MrsSlocombesPuddyCat I hear you. From what the bride said, I took it that she was considering going over-budget because she loved the dress. I hope she found something she loved in time.
I hope she eventually found her dress. It was really sad that she and her entourage were on totally different pages.
Out of these three I loved the first one on her the most! She clearly adored it and felt beautiful in it.
Clearly she couldn’t afford and mom was being generous with a $10k budget.
randy is irritating me on this episode, he is pressuring her into buying something she doesnt want
The first dress was stunning on her & it looked "Spanish" which is what her boyfriened is. She looked perfect in it.
That second dress is gorgeous.
Im trying to do my entire wedding for around $10k 😳
Lol… “it’s going to be a stretch”… must be nice.. what I could do with $15 thousand 😂😂
I think if the any Brides love or really likes a dress they should get that one, because what it comes down to it is that girls wedding not the Mother's Fathers Grandmother Grandfather Sisters Brothers or Any Friends come on people it's her Wedding Day not yours PERIOD and that's my best opinion to everyone specially the Brides, and Congratulations to all.
