Liberals draft oil and gas emissions cap at 35% below 2019 levels | Power & Politics

Environment Minister Steven Guilbeault unveiled draft regulations to cap the oil and gas sector's emissions to 35 per cent below 2019 levels by 2030 on Monday. He argues the sector can increase production by 16 per cent in the same period through the use of clean technology.
