Rincon Sapiência - Ponta de Lança (Verso Livre)

In “Ponta de Lança (Verso Livre)”, Rincon Sapiência throws an interesting provocation to the Brazilian Rap admirers. Inspired by the current scenario in the country, where fans seem to love more the rappers then the rhymes itself, he seeks to redeem the MC culture, in which the magic of words, the rhymes’ puzzle and the history told through the lyrics should be highlighted. In many bars without chorus, Rincon has fun with the words and in the scenes of the video clip directed by Jonah Emilião, idealizer of the “Rasputines Art” studio, from Curitiba. Shooted in “Cohab 1” (Projects), the artist’s neighborhood located at São Paulo’s Eastside, the clip was recorded with a Sony vx2000 camera, naturally bringing that old video texture, from the time MCs use to enjoy pride of place in the Brazilian Rap.
