    Also there’s a great place to eat in Alhambra, it’s only a few dollars more, but nice and satisfying. I had a fresh made tortilla and a great cafe con leche

      Hotel Alhambra, right on the premise. As you go through the final gate it’s on the left. It caters to tourists but they serve authentic Spanish cuisine. It’s only a few dollars more but we rushed to get there on time and didn’t eat, so we were happy to pay a couple of dollars more and it was good Spanish fare.

    Hi..awesome informative video! Do you remember where the Ulala popsicle store was located? Was it close to mesquita or jewish town? Website shows stores in madrid and somewhere else, not in cordoba. Did you do any audio tours in any of the places? We are planning to do one in mosque cathedral in cordoba. Alhambra we just have the tickets as of now. We are going there in less than 2 weeks.

      Thank you! I cannot remember if its closers to Jewish quarters or Mesquita 😅 Here is there IG if you want to contact them about their location: instagram.com/helados_ulala_andalucia/. I only did an audio tour in Cordoba but they are available in all major tourist cities. Have a great time!

      English isn't spoken here but if you're just doing touristy things the staff there usually know enough to get by. Always nice to learn some Spanish too, Sevillanos are very friendly so they will appreciate the effort 😊

    Beautiful video! You've mentioned a few times how cheap Spain is, but that is because the salaries are quite low. An average salary would be 1000-1500 euros gross a month, in the south even less.

    • @eileensworld

      Ronda is beautiful but it depends how much time you've got. Ronda is a small town so you can see eveything in a few hours (you'll take spectacular photos!!)
      But if you want something to really get your teeth into, Granada has enough to last at least an entire day or two....the Alhambra is definitely a must see, Granada was super important in Spain's Moorish history

      I got COVID on that trip and that was probably the reason why I was tired 😅. Otherwise the train rides are not SUPER long and the stations are close to city center so it’s not too bad. If anything, it was more rushed than tiring

    Hi I have a plan to visit Sevilla on October for 1 week ? Do you think is a lot to do in Seville for 1 week or better to get a train like you to visit around city for 1 day then go back to Seville again ? Thanks for your tip.

    • @eileensworld
      @eileensworld  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Pavel, you won’t need an entire week to explore Seville, unless you like to have some rest days in between sight seeing. Day trips are easy to do as well. My other recommendation based on my trip there is that I would spend a night in Granada to explore the city. Since we only did a day trip, we had to get in an out very quickly, and only got to visit the Alhambra, but I know there’s so much more to see!

    Also, for anyone wanting to take tours you can use Guru guide and sign up for free walking tours, all of the ones I've been on in my travels to other countries have been amazing and you just tip whatever you feel is appropriate!

      It is going to be hot. There is a terrible drought in Spain. Everybody is praying for rain but the chances are that it won't rain in May. You should wear light and comfortable summer clothes, sunglasses, caps and hats. Wear comfortable sandals with a thick sole, as the street pavements may be hot. In a normal May, the temperature ranges from 15°C at night (at the coldest hour) to close to 30°C during the day. It shouldn't go over 30, but one never knows. The nights are nice in Seville and people have dinner out late. Don't be afraid to change your eating hours. Right now, 33°C have been forecasted for Seville tomorrow (May 1st) on TV 🤷 Andalucía is a singularity in Europe. Placed between two continents and two seas, it has a long and peculiar history, where many civilizations have left their imprint. I hope you have a nice time!

    La comida española no está exactamente en los lugares d turistas.
    Se come en restaurantes de comida casera para españoles o en los hogares de los españoles.
    Las tapas son para un día , no para todos los días.
    La catedral de Santa Sofía en Estambul es también una mezquita desde el año 1450 que los turcos invadieron la ciudad y expulsaron al Último emperador cristiano ortodoxo.
