Christmas Cover Story 10! After the poem write off with the Literature Club, it was high time for the girls to head to their homes for the day. The club and the Indie Trio did plan for more Nightmare Mode training in the future, so it will be a busy time. But for now, after everything they had powered through, it was relaxation time. Cuphead, Sans and Bendy then decided to go to someplace that could be fun to attend to. So, Cuphead suggested a Casino. Not one that is specifically the Devil's Casino. [The Indie Trio then arrived at a bustling and busy casino, completed with Casino Game Machines, a bar, card tables and more] Sans: Sooo... Cups. I thought you said you didn't wanna go to a casino ever again after what that Devil guy put you through. Cuphead: I said I will never go to HIS casino ever again. I didn't say all casinos. Besides, this one looks like a more fun place than his dump of a casino. Sans: Well, I'lll admit, I never was a gambler, nor do I intend to make bets with one another. But I definitely like games like table games. Puts people to the test. Bendy: [Looking around] How... curious. This is the so called casino... It bears so much resemblance to the Artist's Hall of my realm... [There were lots of people attending the casino in many places. In the background {The Indies don't see these guys because the casino was too crowded}, there was Papyrus who kept losing the Slot Machines, Cartoon Bendy perfoming live on stage with the Devil and Sammy watching said performance] Cuphead: Oh! Your world's got casinos too big guy? I thought it was a gloomy Hell realm. Bendy: You know nothing... about the many sectors and attractions of Joey Drew Studios, little cup... The Artist's Hall is what a mortal being would call both... a hotel... and a party venue. Sans: Makes sense. Never knew even a studio would develope a residential hotspot for their workers. Cuphead: Eh, I get what you mean, Inks. But casinos are a lot more rowdy and outgoing than just simple parties. Ever played any games before? Bendy: [Inky and soft snarl] One has not ever been engrossed into an activity meant for entertainment... [The Indie Trio then sat down at one of the Poker Tables, where there were a bunch of stuff and a card deck at the ready for other players] Sans: Don't worry, Inky. We'll show you the ropes on these games. You'll end up wanting to compete in no time. Cuphead: Oh yeah. Starting with poker. And you know what? To make this interesting, let's pull some tricks to try and throw each other off. [He got his finger gun at the ready] Whadya say, fellas? Sans: [His eye then flared cyan] Heheheh. You know you both are clearly gonna get dunked on by me. Bendy: [His presence made the area around them slowly ink up] The Dark Puddles begs to differ, fools... It is intrigued in such activities, but it also invites such curious and entertaining gimmicks you pull... [He then grabs his deck of cards] I shall claim victory the moment the ink collects the knowledge of this trial... Sans: [He took his own deck] You talk big for someone who has never played before. Bring it on then. Cuphead: [He then also got his deck] Heheh. Amateurs. I got more experience in card games than you all. Losers has to pay up $200 of their own money! Let the games begin! {SANS VS CUPHEAD VS BENDY} Attending a casino, the Indie Trio decided to have their hand on a game of Poker but with a twist. Cuphead's Finger Gun, Sans' Bones, and Bendy's Ink Blobs will be in use for takaing advantage over each other. Losers pays up their Inkwell Coins, Underground Gold, and Studio Slugs, while the winner keeps the reward. Who will win? "The Runnin' & Gunnin' Cup", "The Comical Lazy Bones", or "The Lord of the Dark Puddles"?
Bonus: Indie Night Mechanics Cuphead - If you play as either Sans or Bendy, he will shoot Blue Bullets to drain your health. You need to interrupt him by attacking back, which is available by hitting a parry note. Sometimes, Cuphead will do a Charge Shot that will take out 3/4 of your health. When that happens, attack him twice to stop the Charge Shot. Sans - If you play as either Cuphead or Bendy, Sans will summon bones to throw off half of your health. Dodge the bone wall once you see an warning sign. Sometimes, there will be a chance where you are entered into the Undertale Battle format, where you need to move around to avoid Sans' bone attacks. Bendy - If you play as either Cuphead or Sans, ink notes will blend in with the regular notes, causing the screen to blacken. Hit too many and your screen is completely cover. Sometimes though, there will be a Piper that will slowly sneak up on you from behind to hit you with a Gent Pipe. To stop the Piper, wait until the Pipers arm is shaking when raising the Gent Pipe, then attack before it hits.
YESSS I love this so much! It's everything I'd expect from a lore standpoint when it comes to interactions between these, I also enjoy the little added detail in the text for the background characters, I like how you noticed Papyrus losing the slot machine lmao
The mechanics for this song would probably be. 1. Whoever you clear the song as will win be the winner. 2. Each and every one of them, just as Cuphead said, has their own individual gimmicks to make the game harder. 3. If you select Cuphead, you will have to bypass Sans and Bendy's atrocious mechanics. During certain points of the song, Sans will flare his eye briefly and activate his mechanic, which forces you to avoid blue notes and hit orange ones, hitting blue notes will result in an instant death and missing orange notes lead to the same result, so it's utterly crucial to pay close attention when these notes appear. As for Bendy, his ink and shadow notes will appear mid song. Hitting the ink notes will gradually cover your screen in ink and the shadow notes will result in instant death. If you manage to complete the song while dealing with these difficult mechanics Cuphead will win the game. 4. If you select Sans, you'll have to bypass Cuphead and Bendy's atrocious mechanics. During the song Parry Notes will appear randomly, hitting them instantly charges super meter. This is required as throughout the song, Cuphead will attack you with Peashooter and you must press the Shift Key in order to intercept him. But it's also important to pay attention to Cuphead's side because if you see multiple parry notes (usually a full set of parry notes pressed at the same time.) That means Cuphead is going to fire an EX-Attack at you, he'll mainly fire the mega blast and you must dodge it, otherwise an instant death will be your penalty. Cuphead also has a chance to do Jumbo Rebounder (this move usually occurs when they are only two sets of parry notes.) Which boomerangs back to Cuphead and forces you dodge a second time, failing to dodge even once will also result in an instant death. As for Bendy, his ink and shadow notes will appear mid song. Hitting the ink notes will gradually cover your screen in ink and the shadow notes will result in instant death. If you manage to complete the song while dealing with these difficult mechanics Sans will be the one who wins the game. 5. If you select Bendy, you will have to bypass Cuphead and Sans atrocious mechanics. As for Sans, briefly flaring his eye indicates his mechanic has been activated. This forces you to avoid blue notes and hit orange ones, hitting blue notes will result in an instant death and missing orange notes lead to the same result, so it's utterly crucial to pay close attention when these notes appear. If you manage to complete the song while dealing with these difficult mechanics, Bendy will come out on top and be declared the Winner. 6. The three of them will play equally and not target just who you're playing as. (For example, if you're playing as Cuphead. This means, whenever Sans activates his mechanic, both Cuphead and Bendy will have to deal with his mechanic once it's their turn. Both of them will have to avoid hitting blue notes and always hit orange notes. And when Bendy activates his mechanic, both Cuphead and Sans will have to deal with his mechanic once it's their respective turns. But since whichever characters you're not playing will be automated to hit every note, they will be able to bypass the mechanics altogether.)
Assuming they're playing UNO, Cuphead would probably be reckless in his card usage, Sans would actually use strategy (that is, if he isn't being too lazy or easygoing) and Bendy would just save his best cards to omega screw someone at the last moment. I've been waiting to see this cover for a while and it definitely did not dissapoint. Bravo!

I'd call this "Old fashioned fun" Why you may ask? In undertale they've been underground for years, meaning they must've had old fashion stuff,Less developed than modern tech Well yes Alphys does indeed have high tech shit but most of the underground doesn't even have it alot In cuphead and bendy I don't need to explain
Damn Sora this is pretty good… Tho if I’m gonna say it’s 10/10, I’d also make some tiny, pointless and unnecessary nitpicks about this… Since both Sans and Cuphead seem to be the ones attacking and using gimmicks, it would’ve probably been more fair to have Bendy be in the middle like how Lord X is in Pasta Night seeing he’s pretty much the only to not have a gimmick in Pasta Night…
so mechanics play as sans dodge cupheads EX moves ink notes from Ink Demon health drain from Ink Demon play as cuphead dodge bone zone attack from sans blue and orange notes from sans ink notes and health drain from Ink Demon play as Ink Demon bone zone attack from sans blue and orange notes Cuphead EX move the reason why i say Ink Demon instead of Bendy is because Ink Demon is the official name
so this is like the 3rd or 4th "pasta night but it's the indie cross crew" I've heard. however, you did sound add effects from there respective chapters, and that's pretty cool. I haven't seen that before for this. it's also pretty polished too
I like to imagine they got tired of fighting the Dokis and just went "Lets go play some Uno" and Bendy just grunts
That is an amazing idea lmao, I really love this
Thing is, in ChaosRumble's lore, Bendy is speaking in full sentences now
The trio was just like, “yeah let’s stop fighting a bunch of high school girls”
"C'mon, I know a good club to play at."
"Sounds like a plan, Sans."
"Hmm."

@@ChaosRumble I like how Bendy's just trying new things like poem writing and gambling. Your story never fail to surprise me. 👏👏👏
*inky soft snarl* That sounds oddly adorable

Nobody invited Sammy he just followed Bendy and he told him to just "sit over there and piss off"
Edit: he is truly gold in this au lol
Cuphead:the very tricky player
Sans:the calm and chill one
Bendy:doesnt know but goes along with the game

Nice little touch with the attack sound effects. Are they synced up to the attack timings in the original?
If I had to choose who would win, Cuphead would be the most logical since he’s “skilled” at this, though Bendy and Sans could pull some tricks.
I'm love indie cross
