I think it's pretty well known now that her performance as Hermione should be largely credited to the casting director, since she has proven in films since HP that she just isn't a very good actress. Her accent in Perks of a Wallflower may rank as one of the worst Brit doing American accents.
@@jonathancharron7360 Little Woman was okay but she was hardly the best actress in it. Bling Ring and Noah were trash and hardly worth mentioning. Haven't see Colonia. She's just not lead actress material IMO, she worked as Hermione because of how naturally similar she is to the character and the fact it's a supporting role, but I don't see the talent to headline a good film, or carry a mediocre one.
I wish i could've paid for my degree with small change and spread it out on a part time basis. Imagine becoming educated void of stress and urgency it's a dream many if us will never realise. Emma got thrown into the spotlight and fame so young and that can't be easy.

She wants to quit acting? Well, it will not be a really big loss for the industry, she is not exactly beautiful, and there are many who would like to take her place. And what is that "lack of control"? She is an actress, she is not a director, writer, cinematographer... I never had a really high opinion of her, and it was a laughable choice for that role in Beauty and the Beast... For that role, they should have cast some real beauty, and she is mediocre at best.
