totally agree !! Sweden as well as the ohter scandinavian coutries captured pretty well what Eurovision is about & they always bring on good songs ! We in France are totally idiots .... the last good song we had was Amir with "j'ai cherché"

Personally i would also add the 2015 entry for Russia from Polina Gagarina with "A Million Voices" the writing is maybe a little bit cheesy (especially in comparison to Russia's political behavior at the time back then) but campiness and cheesy’ness is just one of the biggest cornerstones who carry’s the whole ESC event/spectacle every year since 64 year...) Petra and Måns' "Love Love Peace Peace" is a lot better to watch when somebody has watched a ton of Eurovision videos, because it´s so much reference humour that would be lost on somebody new to the contest. When you have seen a lot of enties, it will make you recognize stuff, and it will be so much funnier. Their other act "What is Eurovision?", is much better for a new viewer, adapted to the American audience, as a broadway parody tutorial on what this contest is all about.
