Love watching you two! I just picked this up and I'm loving even just the first revised. But too many tokens for a solo player but I pack them away. Really smooth game. But in combat, is attacking really as simple turning a card with the value you need? Does it get more involved after Revised? Thanks!

What happens when we have all the heroes committed to travel and two enemies attacking? How does combat work? I can't defend, do the heroes still incur damage?
My one pet peeve about this game is how wimpy the heroes are! Cmon. One attack from even the weakest enemy and the hero is basically dead. At least make them feel like heroes. And can take a punch.
I have a friend called Marvel Champions I'd like you to meet ;) I personally liked it thematically. The IP and vibe of the books are pretty well captured in the survivability of the heroes - they aren't half gods striding the Earth laying waste to the hordes of Sauron, they are regular people doing extraordinary things, and sometimes dying along the way
This doesn't feel very "Lord of the Rings"-y.. specially after learning Decipher's version exists! It also being a co-op game is a disappointing revelation. I was looking forward to learning what this was.
It's really hard to think of a better card game. Legendary stuff.
Finally. The game has so much to offer, was sad to see ya'll stop covering it. I just played last weekend!

They nailed it ..... went from simple and fun to chunky and work.
