- In this video i open up my sjrc f11 4k pro drone and modify the antennas in both the transmitter and the drone itself to try and get more range from the drone as i could only make it to 300 meters distance and would lose the video signal so i ordered some 5db 5g and 2.4g antennas for the drone and opened the drone and soldered them in.

I did a antenna mod on my bugs 2 se and snaptain sp700 ..same drones anyways helped a lot got out to 1000+ meters with them ….it’s fun Messing with stuff to see if you can get more out if it ..just like the old day ..great video 👍

hahaha,i done the work correct but you will see in the next video what happened as the drone didn't like being tampered with.i just uploaded the vid now and it will be available in a few minutes

OK, so what is the verdict? Without touching the actual circuit board to boost the emission power, just the antenna gain, what is the post-mod range?
the verdict is do not mod this drone,it actually made the video signal range a lot worse and the drone started crashing out of nowhere.it just didn't like to be tampered with,i ended up restoring the antennas back to factory,watch the next video i made about this and you will see the crashes
juste en mofifiant les antennes de l emteur c bon .il fo mettre des antennes tp-link et ont a la video jusqu a environ 800 metres.
J'ai modifié à la fois les antennes de l'émetteur et celles du signal vidéo à l'intérieur du drone, je n'aimais pas être falsifié et chaque fois que j'essayais de le piloter, le drone s'écrasait et je ne pouvais pas obtenir beaucoup de distance, c'était bien en dessous de 100 mètres après le mod, j'ai donc fini par remettre les antennes d'origine et maintenant, il vole à nouveau très bien, mais la portée n'est que d'environ 200 mètres au mieux avant de perdre le signal vidéo.

However, I seriously wonder why SJRC does not equip the drone and controller with proper antennas from the outset.
It is only about slightly higher material costs, higher production costs are hardly necessary for this ...
But they would deliver a set that you can really rely on.

thanks,i hope it gets a lot farther,its been so windy here that i couldn't test it yet.sjrc do have another model of this drone which came out not to long after this one and is called the S model F11 4k pro,it has optical flow on it and more range

If you are losing fpv why mess with the controller?
it came with a kit i bought so i thought why not extend the range of that also,i eventually put all stock antennas back in the transmitter and the drone because it didn't like the mod for some reason,the drone kept acting up and crashing out of nowhere,i could have it 100 meters or so out and all of a sudden it would dive bomb so i reversed it all back to stock and now it flies great again

just dont modify the video signal antennas,it didnt work out for me ,the drone didnt like the modification for some reason but ive seen others do this mod and it worked fine,this set is for the transmitter,this is just the banggood link,i dont have an afiliate link for these parts so just use this one

@@capeRCouple you might have to put some extra shielding between the antennas and your GPS module
@@johnbeckley3613 i think my soldering job was bad in the first place,i ended up putting everything back to stock after testing it out and having the drone constantly crashing out of nowhere.i do still have the parts tho if i ever do decide to revert back and try it again

hahaha,im not good at this.this was my first attempt and it didn't work as you will see in the next video,im not sure if what happened was because of my mod or it was just the drone itself but you'll see soon what im talking about...lol.

don't bother trying to mess with this drone,it will never fly correctly again.i made a video after this mod and the drone constantly crashes,it doesn't like to be tampered with.i even put the stock antennas back in afterrwards and the drone was never the same again and now it will not even take off anymore.just leave it as it is and enjoy flying it.

I have the same issues with my f11
all those budget drones have some soft of problem , now i tell everyone to just buy a dji mavic mini if they can afford it,the mavic mini se is roughly only around 50 dollars or so more than this f11 and you will never complain about a dji drone,its litterally night and day when flying them,you would have to fly one to see what i mean.a lot of the chinese drone companies have the same problem which is quality control on their products,problem is they are not gone through enough and really tested before shipping and you end up getting one with issues,even fimi and hubsan have this problem,believe me i know and own drones from each of the companies.fimi is like playing a lottery when buying their drones,i have had to return the fimi mini twice before recieving a good one that worked as it should.anyways sorry for rambling and thanks for watching,if u havent yet please subscribe as we do drone giveaways and the next one is coming once i reach the 2000 subscriber mark.
Where is the serial number?
only serial number i could find was on the battery so when i registered it i used that number

@@khangchannel3134 not sure why,it did not like to be tampered with and kept crashing and spiraling out of control on me so i put the stock antennas back in it and now it flies fine again
@@capeRCouple I think the antenna is not correct , please use only 5dbi antenna, frequency 2.4G HAND AND ANTEN 5.8G VIEW LIVE IMAGE
