There's a lot of favoritism within Barca. Some players are allowed to mess up, and others aren't and to be honest 80% of those that are cast aside are the ones always fighting for their position and others don't put 100% it's as if they know that nothing is gonna happen to them...Which is sad to see

I don’t think theres a single barca fan who has been satisfied with the “job” Deco has been doing. Roque situation, Mikyeal Faye, Julian Araujo sold for 10M when we need rb depth and honestly could’ve had some sellon/buyback clause or something, Dani Olmo for +62M, no xavi simons, no nico, can’t sell lenglet even tho there is Finally interest…so so much more. This was my issue with Barca since 2016. We bought players who didn’t fit the system of the coach which also means the coach didn’t ask for them and that makes it hard for them to get playtime thus affecting the market value of the player. It’s like a Domino effect. We bought expensive players and gave them high wages from the beginning. Didn’t give chances to players who deserve it and gave chances to players who didn’t perform good. We don’t know how to do good business. We buy expensive players and sell them for the lowest prices cause we are desperate. There’s a lot more but I can’t keep rambling on

Flick is actually the breath of fresh air we needed. He is a great in-game manager and the players are going to benefit from that aspect of him. I no longer care who is in the starting 11, as long as Hansi Flick is in the dugout I will rest assured.
It would not be sunshine everyday even with Flick on the helm. La liga has becoming more competitive with other team such as Atletico, Sociedad and Girona got their own massive improvement of quality. I think we need to act like Real Madrid, put extra effort more into Champions League and try to be a winner in Europe even at the cost of La Liga or Copa del Rey. By winning Champions League, the club status will be massively improved and build more potent squad from that point.

I don't understand the Ter Stegen point? Who should replace him? Barca is always gonna favour Spanish players first, that's unfortunately the sentiment and fate of players who don't over perform when they come to the club. The strategy of buying players for a cheap price then selling them to make a bit of profit is going to harm the image of the club. Why would a player choose Barça over another big club if they are possibly going to be shipped out to another club (or be attacked by the media if they stay) after 1 season. My main problems with the board trying to be business minded is that : - they still don't know the perfect timing to sell players. It's not like we are generating crazy revenue from players and then reinvesting it into solid signings . - they use the media to gain support for their irrational decisions. "Raphina wants to leave" but in reality the guy is building his family in barca. "Gundogan wants to leave" same person who was excited about flick becoming our coach. - we still don't know how to negotiate - lack of rationality in decision making
Actually a football club should be run partly like a business. You can't only spend money for better football, you have to also generate money to spend, and if the club is one of the greatest clubs in the world, its expenses become even bigger to stay competitive, and you simply have to do some extra efforts to generate more money (unless you earn every trophy and competition prizes) especially if you have made transfer mistakes by signing flops. For mid clubs, its ok not to care too much about the results, you just sign good talents, they prove to be good ballers, they bring results, get the attention of high profile clubs and they sell them at high prices generating good money for the club. We don’t deserve gundogan he was one our best players last season. The club got their money’s worth with him and more, unlike other players at the club. Very professional and spoke highly of our club and spoke the truth. The club really needs to get their sh*t together and treat their players accordingly for what they contribute on the field where it really matters. And it is a real shame, because finally, for the first time in decades, Barca have decided to hire a world class elite manager, but then spirals out of control themselves when he finally arrives. At the same time, we’ve tried to push Fati out of the club, a player who, even when injured during the season, delivers more than Torres. My main problems with the board trying to be business minded is that : - they still don't know the perfect timing to sell players. It's not like we are generating crazy revenue from players and then reinvesting it into solid signings .

Actually a football club should be run partly like a business. You can't only spend money for better football, you have to also generate money to spend, and if the club is one of the greatest clubs in the world, its expenses become even bigger to stay competitive, and you simply have to do some extra efforts to generate more money (unless you earn every trophy and competition prizes) especially if you have made transfer mistakes by signing flops.
For mid clubs, its ok not to care too much about the results, you just sign good talents, they prove to be good ballers, they bring results, get the attention of high profile clubs and they sell them at high prices generating good money for the club.

We don’t deserve gundogan he was one our best players last season. The club got their money’s worth with him and more, unlike other players at the club. Very professional and spoke highly of our club and spoke the truth. The club really needs to get their sh*t together and treat their players accordingly for what they contribute on the field where it really matters. The treatment here with our old/new players is really gonna affect future signing’s perspective on joining our club.

I’ve been a fan since Rikjaard, Ronaldhino and Marquez. Rij, Pep, Tito, and Lucho’s teams were special. But all this you’re mentioning it’s true. I’ve also question those things. Im very disappointed at the way the team it’s being managed, specially seeing those players go though that.

It's not the first time Madrid built a superteam they did it in 2000s and 2010s each time barca would compete cause resources were spend for the right players and trust was given to young players from the academy,but now look we spent 45 million on a aging forward give him more wages than freaking Mbappe,spend big on raphina,Victor,Ferran just to want them gone the next season,Vini took time to be good,madrid was patient and wasn't willing to see all that money go waste when they signed him

I agree with you a 100%! Barca are a mess right now. And it is a real shame, because finally, for the first time in decades, Barca have decided to hire a world class elite manager, but then spirals out of control themselves when he finally arrives. Under Xavi, an inexperienced manager, at least you felt like the club was working well behind the scenes, there was a clear direction, and some really good, and significant, tranfers arriving to bolster the squad with real quality... Under Flick, this just isn't the case anymore... Why cannot we have both? A world class manager AND a club with a clear direction and professional approach to how they conduct business.

Surprise never end with Barca. Yesterday was so so, today is so so, and tomorrow will be another player in the news rumoured to leave. What is happening up there? I've known Laporta as a very good person because of what he achieved in his first tenure and every cules is optimistic about him to take the club back to the pinnacle of the game but with the noises coming up, we are confused because the direction of the club is not known.
If Deco is not capable we should engage a better person that can do the job.

I completely agree. I think Laporta was the right man to lead us through this financial storm. But I’m getting tired of all the strange signings and sales. As mentioned, it’s puzzling how a player like Torres is still in the club. It’s fine that he runs a lot and is friendly, but he doesn’t have the level required to play for a club like Barcelona. At the same time, we’ve tried to push Fati out of the club, a player who, even when injured during the season, delivers more than Torres. I was looking forward to seeing how the squad we had at the beginning of this preseason would perform, and a left winger would have been enough. But the fact that we still haven’t sorted out the financial situation-we’ve known for 4-5 months that we needed to close a lot of deals-it’s starting to become a bit ridiculous that the club’s management doesn’t have it under control. I think all true fans would be completely okay if we were told we can’t afford new signings, instead of being lied to about our finances.
