Hope Dubov will establish himself in the patheon of the Worlds Top 10 for the following years so we get alot of high class games in high class tournaments of him.
I'll need to look at this a bit closer before offering a specific analysis, but I can initially say that, not unlike Wesley So at the moment, it seems to be Danil Dubov's chess world right now, and we are very fortunate to be living in it. This game is definitely worth a second look. Full credit to Nepo for his performance in the tournament as well.

Yesterday I rewatched your video on Nepo's Round 1 victory in the candidates over Giri. It's not as flashy as some other games, but it's still such a masterpiece. In my eyes that's the game of the year, maybe you can include it in the poll? @PowerPlayChess btw: great video as always!

I'm too stupid and can't find the split rooks - only on my board, too often there. Are the shirts organic cotton and fair trade? That's an exclusion criterion.

He does indeed have nice ways to describe the situation on the board. Others that come to my mind are: 'a warm duvet of pawns','Carlsen showing who the daddy is' and of course 'bishops raking across the board'. The last one should be pretty fun on a t-shirt: a couple of bishops doing some gardening.

Excellent - Dubov is a very dangerous player, I have seen several games now where right in the opening he gains a big advantage.
Except when he isn't. He have lost games in this tournament to weaker opponents.

I agree. Giri - Nepo is a very strong candidate as it is such a rich game, and brilliantly played in all phases.
Yes, that‘s an excellent game. Especially impressive because Nepo was caught in some very dangerous opening prep and still outplayed his opponent.
