I heard that "run" wasn't so good in it's new version. But you got to ride and that's all that matters. I see you saw the light and went with the Trashin Supply set-up. I've run the same on 2 different RG's and am now hooked on the comfort. To me it makes the bike feel lighter.
It was nothing like it was, which is why I really didn't have anything to film. Cops were pulling people over in Arizona like crazy, and the event was just blah. I'm still on the fence about the handlebars. I might switch to a different company but the same style. We will see.
Actually the stock linkage needs to be replaced because the stock one fails at the ball and socket joints. It’s a first thing to change out item that will leave you at the worst moment!
Surprisingly, linkage was good to go with over 70,000 miles on it, however, I did replace it. the shifter shaft that was replaced along with the bushings because that’s what failed.
I ride a black and chrome 2005 Chicano style road king w/ a Jerry rigged road glide fairing for the long rides till I can afford the next one ! I want to get in on some rides but I’m a fairly new rider so I was gonna do some solo trips to get some miles in .I got some great ideas from you thanks bro .i appreciate all the trial and error you do for me. I’m from SGV area I use to know some of the guys on your videos from highschool. Thanks for putting the Chicano style material out their bro ! 🤙🏼
That's a really good idea to do some solo rides before doing group rides. In my opinion, group riding, is a whole different beast depending on who you ride. Me and this guy in the video can ride side by side like synchronized swimmers. Yet, I ride with others and they cannot ride as fast and tight as I can with my buddy Huero. Thanks for watching the videos bro, I appreciate it because I enjoy sharing my experiences with others.
What’s up brother. I like your new handlebar set up. 👍Keep the videos comin.
Thanks bro. I got another epic ride coming up and I plan on documenting it again. Thanks for watching.
It happens
It sure does.
Same shit happened to me on the way to Arizona Bike Week. I lost both shifters and the shaft. Had to jockey shift from outside of Blythe to Phoenix
Yup. I hear it’s a common occurrence.
I learned. I carry an extra bolt, shaft and shifter now
@@jeromysnyder4160 smart move. 🤘🏽
