Do Red Dead Redemption 2! Since its essentially the love letter game for Bully fans like you and me! Maybe explain how they improved Bully's main selling point ... The dialogue system, in RDR 2! How it's dynamic instead of static like Bully's was? That would be cool. Maybe also all the dozens of Bully references within the game. Similar sounding characters from Bully. Pearson = Bike Shop owner. JimBoy's Autobiographer = Melvin(Nerd)

I agree, because every characters even NPCs has their own background stories and unique dialogue, and what I liked the most about bully is that is how diverse the setting is and the details are too much for such a small game.

Great review Nathan, this video really covers all the reasons why I love Bully. I have lots of favourite games but I'd say Bully is the one where I'm so invested in the world and it's characters. Not bad for for game that came out nearly 13 years ago. It really is such an underrated gem.
He always mentions that the Jocks don't have territory besides the sports area but I do think that they are programmed to consider the carnival their turf because they are more aggressive there. During chapter 4 I was regularly being found attacked by Mandy on sight when I was at the carnival which otherwise wouldn't happen on neutral turf.
I wish, doubt anything will be said as it wouldn't make taketwo money like gta online does it's all pay 2 wins these days so bully 2 wouldn't make sense financially.
@KaymBro 15 First of all, I wasn't talking about whether it does or doesn't deserve a sequel and I did not say it's not a good game but it's far from the GREATEST game of all time tbh. Also there are many other games that deserve sequels One of the best examples would be Half Life 2 and I could go on and on naming more games that deserve sequels like Portal 2, Left 4 Dead 2, Beyond Good and Evil, LA Noire and many many other games. :)

Still to this day my favorite Rockstar game and one of my favorite games of all time. I started playing it again a few days ago and stumbled upon your channel. Thank you for all this content on a great game.
I went to a three story high school with only two usable floors. The third used to be an AM radio station but it ended up shutting down and falling into disrepair. A student went up there and killed himself once. The school boarded it up after that and it’s now completely inaccessible. And we had like three teachers who are now convicted pedophiles just from my four years there. Most of the teachers who weren’t into children were into either heavily drinking or snorting pills (or both) at their desk during school hours. High school was a hell of a time.
Bully and The Warriors by far are my favorite Rockstar games. Remember those times when I played Bully on Xbox 360 & PC as a child. I've played through Bully about 10 times already. Recently I remembered this nostalgic and great game and completed the game 100% first time. It felt amazing.

However nothing is perfect, the game is rushed and as a result,it suffers but still. It's a unique game

Dead Space47 it’s an open world mission based game lol. If it felt rushed it’s because you weren’t enjoying the side missions or weren’t screwing around like how the developers intended you to.

59:23 the controls were only bad for me at the beginning but after that i got used to them and i didn't had much of a problem. having extra buttons on the mouse also helped me punch kids easier.

i used to make fun of my cousin since he played bully since i thought it was a "gta clone" i played it in january of this year and ohh my god bully is a masterpiece.
In the end I don't want Rockstar to make bully 2. After seeing how dissapointing the stories of Rdr2 and gta v were, I just don't have faith in this new Rockstar and am happy to see this IP left untouched.

The Guarma part was definitely drawn out. That entire "chapter" was one long mission with no breaks in between and, even though I love a good story, I really wasn't paying attention because I couldn't free roam to save and wanted it all over.

I did some research about the ninja suits. The red ninja allowed you to tresspass. The green ninya suit boosted your projectile weapons. The black ninja suit made it so authority figures can't bust you for tresspassing, curfew, and truancy.
The voice in these videos is mumbling which sounds like speed up to 1,5x so it's hard to concentrate on it sometimes but I appreciate the content nonetheless.
I get the feeling that the Rockstar devs didn’t really have their hearts into the development of this game. I suspect that it’s due to the game being so different from Rockstar’s norm that they didn’t really expect it to be as well received as it actually was, and therefore, it wasn’t worth the extra effort. Maybe we’ll get lucky and they’ll put more effort into Bully 2 when it’s finally released sometime in the year 2167.
he might be talking about simple stuff like menu navigation which can't be changed in game and needs file changes. WASD instead of arrows and ALT to select is goofy even for a 2006 PC game when they had it smooth in san andreas
The whole GTA/Rockstar gameplay loop started feeling outdated and stopped being fun to me by the time San Andreas came out, but I’ve always had a lot of respect for this game for being something different. If any of their franchises deserve a sequel it’s this. Grand Theft Auto feels so stale in comparison. I really appreciated how detailed RDR2’s world was and it was absolutely massive. It would be really neat to see that same level of detail or more crammed into a 1:1 recreation of a school campus and the surrounding area. I’m tired of every open-world game prioritizing breadth over depth. I don’t care if I can go to that mountain in the distance if there’s nothing to do when I get there. I’d much rather explore a heavily detailed single location with care and intention put into every square inch of it than another copy-pasted map that you can’t interact with in any meaningful way. The detail in this game is impressive enough as it is. I can’t imagine what they could do with almost 20 years of technological improvements as long as it doesn’t end up being a boring ass GTA game set in a school.
I like San Andrea's and RDR 2. But those games are so long that if I want to focus on their plots, it's gonna take a good 3 days. Unfortunately. I have a job. So it's a whole week.. Bully, on the other hand, I can beat in 1 day or 2. I appreciate that the map isn't overly big for the sake of trying to wow a mainstream audience.
The only thing I don’t agree with you is how colorful the school is I like seeing how colorful the game is because i can see jimmy better and I also like how beautiful the atmosphere was
Honestly I like Bully SE's colours. Not too bright and not really dull. Anniversary Editions looks oversaturized and I like your take on Bully PS2/4's duller colours but personally it feels a bit too off
Can you do like a tiny details video, i recently realized in the nerd safe house above the bed there a plan on the wall. I actually thought it was a columbine reference but the one thing i could actually read was a picture of a cooler that said pee in here. Later on in the story as many may know, the nerds give you a mission and you meet up with nerds in different parts of the Academy and the last thing you do is pee in the cooler.
@@yuppiecake9097 Jimmy is not a decent guy, he's been expelled several times including in his own main story and the only reason he got back into the schools good graces was by beating up Gary. Jimmy has shown he can lead different groups of many people and I can definitely see him taking Los Santos by storm if he's mid 30s and has a master plan. His "get shit done" attitude would fit perfectly into GTA

One of the best and most unique games I've ever played. I actually consider the Wii scholarship edition to be the best version. I know some ppl agree but I'm sure there's a ton of ppl that don't agree and just plain hate motion controls in any form. I'm a huge fan of the Wii but I admit that the majority of non first party Wii games have awful motion controls. It's absolutely shocking that a port of Bully exists on Wii at all, but then it becomes even more incredible when you see that it looks great visually, it runs extremely well, it doesn't have the glitches that are present in the Xbox 360 version but it has all the extra content, and best of all the motion controls aren't laggy, they are responsive and actually work. When motion controls are laggy and delayed it makes for the situation that every Wii player has experienced as a "waggle fest". It's not a fun or ideal way to experience ANY game. It's amazing to me that Bully completely avoided this and despite being a port on such a unique system console they made the best version of all
I have a glitch with the tattoo's. If i try to go on the right arm menu it automatically goes back to the left arm menu. Plus i never new that you have played games like Pokemon before.
The PC port was made by people who had clearly never played a game on PC before. The controls are insanely stupid. And as of 2020 the Steam version doesn’t even work properly on win10.
You can do wheelies. When cycling hold down on the analog stick and Jimmy will start doing it. I think there was an achievement for it on the PS4 version.
tbh bullys controls on pc arent thay bad when you reassign the keys like i did, but then again im used to playing pc games with actually *horrible* controls
Nathan, I hope your channel grows. You are way more wholesome than Swegta. I think you'd probably would grow faster if you made other RS videos that don't relate to Bully. Not to say the Bully content is bad, it just doesn't do too much with helping your channel reach a wider audience to discover you. For example, Mumkey Jones started doing parody anime reviews. But when he made other parody videos, his channel grew faster. Like, I bet if you did a worst or best Rockstar games list, that would be interesting. Or analyze other games besides Bully.

Bully was called Canis Canem Edit in Australia, but when Scholarship was released in Australia, it was called Bully.
Probably because all the manufactured controversy died off by then.

Bully has the best combat compared to all other Rockstar games till date
maxpayne 3 wins in gunplay i perfere red dead 2 hand combat over bully but gta4 was the best over all bully is great though.

In my one save I just free roam and in auto save I do main missions . You can do this

But in the beginning of the game you have to pick Russel's locker with Gary, so you can't go an entire game without that.
Who knew my cousin would give this game, Gauntlet Dark Legacy, and some Dragon Ball game. Still, I thank him for that.

he might be talking about simple stuff like menu navigation which can't be changed in game and needs file changes. WASD instead of arrows and ALT to select is goofy even for a 2006 PC game when they had it smooth in san andreas
The whole GTA/Rockstar gameplay loop started feeling outdated and stopped being fun to me by the time San Andreas came out, but I’ve always had a lot of respect for this game for being something different. If any of their franchises deserve a sequel it’s this. Grand Theft Auto feels so stale in comparison. I really appreciated how detailed RDR2’s world was and it was absolutely massive. It would be really neat to see that same level of detail or more crammed into a 1:1 recreation of a school campus and the surrounding area. I’m tired of every open-world game prioritizing breadth over depth. I don’t care if I can go to that mountain in the distance if there’s nothing to do when I get there. I’d much rather explore a heavily detailed single location with care and intention put into every square inch of it than another copy-pasted map that you can’t interact with in any meaningful way. The detail in this game is impressive enough as it is. I can’t imagine what they could do with almost 20 years of technological improvements as long as it doesn’t end up being a boring ass GTA game set in a school.

I like San Andrea's and RDR 2. But those games are so long that if I want to focus on their plots, it's gonna take a good 3 days. Unfortunately. I have a job. So it's a whole week..
Bully, on the other hand, I can beat in 1 day or 2. I appreciate that the map isn't overly big for the sake of trying to wow a mainstream audience.

Honestly I like Bully SE's colours. Not too bright and not really dull. Anniversary Editions looks oversaturized and I like your take on Bully PS2/4's duller colours but personally it feels a bit too off

Can you do like a tiny details video, i recently realized in the nerd safe house above the bed there a plan on the wall. I actually thought it was a columbine reference but the one thing i could actually read was a picture of a cooler that said pee in here. Later on in the story as many may know, the nerds give you a mission and you meet up with nerds in different parts of the Academy and the last thing you do is pee in the cooler.

Why would Jimmy be in GTA? What role would he play? He certainly wouldn't be the protagonist. GTA protagonists are monsters. Jimmy is a decent person.
@@yuppiecake9097 Jimmy is not a decent guy, he's been expelled several times including in his own main story and the only reason he got back into the schools good graces was by beating up Gary. Jimmy has shown he can lead different groups of many people and I can definitely see him taking Los Santos by storm if he's mid 30s and has a master plan. His "get shit done" attitude would fit perfectly into GTA

@@yunjin909 I mean before bullworth he was expelled several times and in the main story he solved problems with his fists first, diplomatically later. I feel that makes him a quality candidate for at LEAST a cameo appearance.

One of the best and most unique games I've ever played. I actually consider the Wii scholarship edition to be the best version. I know some ppl agree but I'm sure there's a ton of ppl that don't agree and just plain hate motion controls in any form. I'm a huge fan of the Wii but I admit that the majority of non first party Wii games have awful motion controls. It's absolutely shocking that a port of Bully exists on Wii at all, but then it becomes even more incredible when you see that it looks great visually, it runs extremely well, it doesn't have the glitches that are present in the Xbox 360 version but it has all the extra content, and best of all the motion controls aren't laggy, they are responsive and actually work. When motion controls are laggy and delayed it makes for the situation that every Wii player has experienced as a "waggle fest". It's not a fun or ideal way to experience ANY game. It's amazing to me that Bully completely avoided this and despite being a port on such a unique system console they made the best version of all

I have a glitch with the tattoo's. If i try to go on the right arm menu it automatically goes back to the left arm menu.
Plus i never new that you have played games like Pokemon before.

Thankfully on PC there's GTASaveGames where you can just download a save at a certain mission.

You can do wheelies.
When cycling hold down on the analog stick and Jimmy will start doing it. I think there was an achievement for it on the PS4 version.

Try tapping S when riding a bike.
Personally I hate using a keyboard for Bully, so I might be wrong there.

Nathan, I hope your channel grows. You are way more wholesome than Swegta. I think you'd probably would grow faster if you made other RS videos that don't relate to Bully. Not to say the Bully content is bad, it just doesn't do too much with helping your channel reach a wider audience to discover you.
For example, Mumkey Jones started doing parody anime reviews. But when he made other parody videos, his channel grew faster.
Like, I bet if you did a worst or best Rockstar games list, that would be interesting.
Or analyze other games besides Bully.
