hey man what about the balance shaft pulley timing?
@deriel_gamesyt2653 the pulley itself should just line up with the Woodruff key
@@TunerZen yes but since it’s counter weighted it needs to rotate what ever ratio it has to be in balance and send the correct timing to the injectors
hey im working on my 1998 prelude and everything lines up to check the timing but the trans marker? any help would be greatly appreciated
Do you know if by chance it's an oem on? The markers on the cams should also line up with the crank and that is correct too if it is like that
The timing Break off in my 2001 Honda prelude. Do I need new motor or can be repair .? Thanks
I would first do a compression test. That will guide you if you bent a valve or not. Harbor freight has a compression test kit that pretty cheap.
@@TunerZen thanks for responding 👍🏻🍻
@octopus6152 anytime bud. If you have any other questions just let me know.
Very good vid
Thanks TH-cam, for reccomending this to me about 2 hours after I spent all day doing this job......
Got to love how the algorithm works. Lol
Everytime im trying to set my damn cam timing it's springs
Yup, it's very common with this. Set the cam that slips a tooth or 2 forward and it will snap back to TDC.
@@TunerZen upon further reading if the manual there's dowls pin holes you can put I believe a 6mm punch or anything of that width to hold in place.Ps Completed job ages agai
