I was lucky to find the xt build of this bike in same color at my LBS. I swapped out wheelset to an I-9 Enduro 305 wheelset w alloy pull through spokes w Hydra hubs. I've had it a couple weeks, still getting it dialed in but quite thrilled with the way it performs! Enjoy your new ride!
XT is nice for sure! I wanted the 305s but they were unavailable. The i9 guys sold me on the Trail 270s and I’ve had no regrets. Those wheels are solid and the hydra is 👌🏼👌🏼. Enjoy the HT!

Gorgeous machine. I unfortunately / fortunately ordered one in this colour to replace my poor LT which had a rock crack the rear triangle. You came so close in the video but it looks like they have done a much better job protecting the area under the bottom bracket and rear triangle just aft of the bottom bracket. Can you comment on this? As a PSA as well, I encourage you to put some beefy tape or some sort of protector on unprotected carbon in that area. Rocks from the front tire getting kicked up....
In my teocalli ridge video @14:15 you’ll notice a slapping sound. It was way louder in person. I thought the same thing when a rock hit shot up and hit my bike. I noticed SC did add more plastic protection at the BB. It almost covers the entire frame up to where it meets the rear triangle but there is still a small 2” portion that is uncovered. I have protective tape in those areas. I appreciate the advice!!
Are the stock bar/stem combo on the S build a 31.8 or 35mm. I can’t tell from the video or SC website. Thanks! Beautiful bike, I’m looking at the same model.

Mark Lopez Congrats, Mark! It's a great looking color in person, and I prefer the grays or black bikes (although, I loved last year's blue color). But, you are correct. The ember color looks more reddish in the sun and during the evening or in darker settings, it looks more burnt orange. I don't think you will regret your choice. Have fun on the bike!
I bought this same bike I want to upgrade from the yari to the new 2021 fox factory. What’s the offset for the fox 36? I don’t want to change the geometry. I don’t know much about forks that’s why I ask you. There is 44mm and 51mm offset. I want to keep it the same as the yari that came with the bike. It’s the carbon r Built.

MidwinterEclipse - if I was in your spot, I would upgrade the wheelset first. It makes more difference for efficiency than a fork will...Unless your style of riding is less pedaling and more sending!

MidwinterEclipse got gloss for the frame and matte for the fork. Did not have it on in video. It’s obvious in the beginning but not so much that it takes away from its appeal. I will likely use the wrap on every new bike from here on out
Carl R. Leblanc - the neighborhood rides are great. I am waiting until my ride wrap package comes in and I wrap it up before I take it out on the trail. The paint job is very susceptible to chips and scratches so I’m trying to preserve it best I can. I’ll be posting a video of the first ride next week.

mottitsch - depends on what you mean by “technical.” They changed/upgraded the stem, bars, chain, crank, fork, spokes, and updated to the new GX drivetrain. As for the geometry, it all seems to be the same.

I have one of these. That clicky rear hub noise most likely means high end quality, but I absolutely hate that noise when I’m riding.

Why don't you like the Yari? Just upgrade to the Charger damper and its like you have a Lyrik. Cheaper than buying a new Fox fork.
