    Just picked up one up with less than 40k Miles for $34,500 Canadian. Which is roughly $27600 Usd and yes it is also a 2018 G80 3.3T sport. Managed to get it in Polar Ice.

    I'm like you, I think this body style is a little more sporty than the new ones so in my opinion this is a good deal if you don't have to have a brand new car.

      Yea for sure! Even then it’s so much cheaper than buying a new one, I don’t know why you’d get a new one when it’ll loose that much!

    No offense, love car vids from tons of TH-camrs including this channel, just wanted to add a little info. The MSRP of this car was 55k to 58k and you could gat a base Genesis with all the tech but a NA V6 for as low as 43k new. I had one haha. It's a great car but the is definitely not half price. The warrant is 10yr 100k for the engine. I don't think I saw you adjust them but there is driving modes, the paddles and engine would have been more peppy in sport and normal is all comfort. The cars infotainment is older but it does have full wired android auto/car play. The reason I got rid of a car aside of a major accident, was that the rear seats do not fold down. I do like the look of the car and the contrast is supposed to be copper accents inside and out.

    • @BrosFOURRSpeed

      I appreciate the comment! I went on the Genesis website (my local dealer) and a fully loaded 2021 G80 was listed for $70K! I was talking about lower trim levels, just what a top of the line model would go for if you choose to buy one! I'm not sure what this model cost brand new, I was saying what the 21 cost brand new! I didn't see any driving modes unless they were hard to find! But it's a cool sedan! I love the look of it and there aren't too many on the roads that I get to see!

    • @JPR3ST0N
      @JPR3ST0N 3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@BrosFOURRSpeed For sure man! the new ones are a bit more. This generation was a bit cheaper as they were still borrowing a lot from the Hyundai parts bin. The drive modes are right under the shifter which can be seen at the (7:42) mark in the vid. There should have been Sport, Comfort, Eco, Snow, and Maybe a custom.

      Are you kidding…? This is a Twin Turbo AWD Sport Sedan. The Avalon is…not! Best thing about it as a Luxury/Premium offering is it runs on Regular gas and gets reasonably gas mileage. Infotainment system is also both touch and Wheel controlled, quick and flawless. I’ve owned mine for 4.yrs and I’m still learning some functionality. One of the downsides is the dearth of Dealerships. He should have put it in Sport Mode. Interior Engine sounds are simulated, it’s a sensory deprivation chamber otherwise. Other than the transmission issues, excellent value.

      @@jaylanjackson4653it's all about torque as well, all that torque in the V8 will hit at 5000 rpm, so u need to really rev it out but if you keep it in that powerband then it may pass the 3.3 turbo, but the turbo had torque at a much lower rpm so it actually kicks out and does 0 to 60 about a second or 2 faster. I feel like the V8 would do better at highway speeds.
