If Donald Trump a civilian apply for a security clearance he would never get one. His record speaks for itself. Most of his friends also lack security clearance and under normal times could not get one.
What is going to happen when Donald Trump is reelected his friends will have access to the most top secret folders many are so untruest worthy that the country will be at risk.
Getting a security clearance involves a series of integral steps including sponsorship from an eligible entity, submitting an application via the e-QIP (Electronic Questionnaires for Investigations Processing) system, and a thorough investigation process. This process culminates in adjudication, where a clearance decision is made based on the investigated data.
Everyone employed by the United States federal government undergoes a basic background investigation of their criminal and credit histories. This ensures that all federal employees are “reliable, trustworthy, of good conduct and character, and of complete and unswerving loyalty to the United States.”
Foreign governments will no longer trust the US with secrets most have already said so.
After seeing what Donald Trump stole from the CIA and so far has gotten away with it, all overseas sources will dry up.
