- Mark Williams was a BEAST on the defensive end last season, especially after getting the starting role at the trade deadline. He also showed some great flashes offensively, and he's undoubtedly the franchise center for the Charlotte Hornets.

We’re beyond good at the position right now. Media always seems 2-3 years behind when it comes to reporting on Hornets.
And it's crazy cuz I didn't mind nic as our starter but Mark made it so obvious it has to be him we didn't have much of a choice lol
@allstopblue5717 I like Kai better at the 4 ngl. He get that fade down, keep that high motor n develop his 3 ball. He already has great athleticism on defense. Think about how long defensively our line up would be?! Shortest wingspan on the team would probably be Rozier lol.

All we need is healthy players this year and we are definitely looking at the playoffs IMO. Non stop injuries were brutal for this team last year.

Oh my gawd! This guy is NICE. Hornets have a franchise player and future DPOY candidate. He reminds me of D''wight Howard but with more finesse. I could see him averaging 20 ppg 15 rbs 2.5 blks in his prime.

Its so easy to tell why we traded from jalen duren in the draft. Hes the big we need! Not a stretch although he can still shoot. Dominant in the paint on both ends. Im not worried about Wemby if we got Mark on the other end 🔥🔥🔥🔥 Lob City Hornets lets go!!!
He can shoot threes. They didn't want him to in his first stint in the league, but he was shooting some in the GLeague. That was also a reason we kept him. There's video of him shooting them at the combine as well as I'm practice. He has the complete game.

One thing that I have noticed with mark that I have only seen with one other player, is the ability to have a jelly block. Like bro. Donate 10000 bucks to Hakeem’s charity so you get a weeklong hell with him. I see way too many similarities

Mark has game so similar to Greg Oden it's uncanny, said it from the day we drafted him, he looks like Greg Oden on the court

He has three point range already. They didn't let him shoot threes last season. They will this year. His shooting touch was one big reason we took him.

Man I think Miller is good, but scoot wit Lemelo would would of been funner to watch.
Scooter is a flawed player who is going to struggle till he gets a consistent outside shot. His first quarter in Summer League was 13 pts then Houston laid off him and said shoot it! He clanked two ugly front rim bricks and went 0-7 till he hit two free throws on the fast break he got injured on. Miller was by far the better pick unless moving on from Melo!
