Looks fantastic especially considering FDM. I am really happy to see you answered the question in other comments about nozzle size for the heads and Dogpool as it was something I too was curious about.
Thanks for the kind feedback! Yeah I seem to have accidentally edited out the part where I covered that stuff, haha, it was late and I was rushing to get it done 🤣🦊🍺
You know, I think it does actually have some on it if I recall, probs needs more though if not showing 😮 Thanks for the great feedback, really appreciate it dude! 🦊🍺🤘
Wow thanks for the great feedback! Yeah the files are amazing. I don't get along well with my resin printer, so was happy to see that the A1 could do such a good job. But yeah, I really should do them in resin 🤣🦊🍺
Great job man. Been experimenting with statues on my P1S and they come out amazing. I do use very large resin printers, but its been so cold last two weeks I cant get anything to print so I did a Jubalee, and a Riddick statue on my p1s and they look amazing compared to my cr-10 and CR-10S5 I tried to use before. I dont seem to have issues with supports leaving any damage so I guess i been getting lucky on that part.. But again you did a amazing job, love it. Keep up the great work.
@@figuresix your exploits sound amazing dude, glad you're getting success! Thank u you so much for the feedback! When I printed this I was just using the default Z heights for supports, but since learnt that make the Z heights double your later height means they just come off so easy.
was it printed with a 0.2 hot end or a 0.4 end with a print setting of 0.08 extra fine. As for your finished product, it's good and have to admit am looking forward to printing something like this when I have finished a couple of projects this old fart has wanted to do since a kid, way before 3d printers where even thought of.... Keep up the good work...
The heads and dogpool headpool were all the .2, but rest .4. I seem to have edited out the part where I say that... there was a LOT of waffle to cut 🤣 yeah you gotta get on to those projects dude! Thanks for the feedback!!🦊🍺🤘
Sorry dude, I printed this before making 3D printing vid's, and I don't have the files any more to go back and check. But I do know they were just the basic Bambu A1 default settings. Used the .2 nozzle for the heads.
Yeah there were definitely challenges 🤣 I got my A1 to print things like large props and helmets, and thought I'd give it a go for this sort of thing as I don't like using my resin printer as it's small, and messy. Ended up being very pleasantly surprised by how well FDM can look
Got any killer FDM printing tips? Or any tips really ... Pop them below!
Epic as always!
That's beautiful, great job
Thank you so much my friend! 🦊🤣🍺
Seeing them printed would be a nice touch!
Hi dude, sorry I made this before doing TH-cam vid's, so never filmed the process.
would love to see your process of printing and post processing, especially with FDM
I could definitely add it to my (fairly) healthy list of vid's to produce! Thanks for the idea, and encouragement! 🍺🤣🦊

A touch of clear resin on the eye might give it a nice shine ;) Ooooh... same with Dogpool's tongue. Awesome paint and printing... very impressive!

i used a family members clear nail for baby groots eyes lmao it worked a charm
Overall, I'm shocked how well these came out. Maybe in part due to the great paintjob and great files. I'd still print them in resin, though.

I hoped you would talk about printsettings like layerheight, nozzlesize, printspeeds, wallthickness..
Sorry dude, I printed this before making 3D printing vid's, and I don't have the files any more to go back and check. But I do know they were just the basic Bambu A1 default settings. Used the .2 nozzle for the heads.
Resin all the way with that types of figures.
FDM always going to have bad quality of the part where the supports connect.
