for the cantina battles is it worth only farming the battles that require 8 energy instead of the 16 or would the higher energy cost increase the droprate of zetas?
Thanks, phatphil! Only question is, does one need the 330 shards of a character or the 7 stars so the game considers you can get the extra drops? Scrybe suggests you can get both shards and extra drops if you have like 400 shards of a character but he is not 7 stars yet.
That sounds like a bad risk to make. If it's not true, you'll be missing out on chances for zetas, kyros, etc. If it IS true, what are you actually getting of worth, extra character shards for Shard Shop currency? That's not worth the risk of missing out on the valuable drops imo. Shard Shop currency is useful for Datacrons, and can help a little with gear, but it's not THAT big of a deal that you should risk handicapping your drops. 7*your characters. Remember, it's a million credits for 7, 500k for 6*, etc. So if you don't have enough credits atm, I'd make sure to use your daily credits to star them A.s.a.p.
What I do know is that you don't immediately get the bonus drops after promoting to 7 stars. I think logging in and out was also insufficient as there is a big lag for the game to update. I don't know if getting to 7 stars and not promoting will work if you leave enough time for that update to happen.
I've opted to only do mod and cantina energy. Cere and 9th Sister too far off 7 star to warrant it (and I still have other farms to do)
