The 4th puppy just needed to get used to the people. Who knows what those puppies have been through so the 4th dog was protecting him and his siblings..

It's sweet. The 3 weak puppies look like they're a different breed than the active 4th. It's like the 4th pup stumbled upon the trio and designated himself as the protector.
The fact that he is a lot bigger supports this theory. He seems much older too.
They were all from the same litter. There were also 2 others like him but didn’t make it. He was the biggest and strongest because he attacked the other 3 and wouldn’t let them eat when we fed them. The mum looked like the 3 little ones and the dad looked like the forth. They were all street dogs 😢
@@SailingSunday Wait, did the big pup forbid them from eating out of protectiveness or because he wanted to hog the food to himself? This seems less sweet and more sad...
@@bunnyhop6911 sadly they were so hungry and dehydrated when we found them that they all began attacking each other over the food. It was survival of the fittest at that point💔💔You can see the full rescue on our channel which shows the reality of it

God that is so depressing. Thank you for the story nonetheless. And it really shows that you guys have big hearts to save the one that was the one who survived by attacking all the other little ones.

Not happy tears. Tears or early separation from family after birth. Sad how people still support the Dodo when their rescues are 100% just separations for human pleasure.
The forth puppy being the one that took care of the rest of them and at the end he never get to see 3 of them getting bettter and send off to their new home, let alone forever guessing are them ok for the rest of its life.

We would have loved to but it took us weeks to finally catch him and by that point the other 3 were healthy, vaccinated and leaving for their forever homes. We couldn’t risk him transmitting any illness or parasites over to them.

As a Certified Dog Trainer, I have specialised in damaged/challenged/traumatised dogs. One thing that can help gain trust, is not holding out, or throwing the treat between you and the pup. Toss treat *behind* fear(aggressive) dog. Keep doing that, as they approach. They will build up trust without feeling bribed. Suzanne Clothier has a fab video or six on this! Great job, guys!

It really tears my heart to see that there are puppies who are alone in the wild and not prepared for survival..
Cats too. It’s so sad and I get this thought every time it gets cold which is why I feed my neighborhood strays and buy canned cat food whenever I see cats on the street. I could just bring them from home but I often forget to and end up buying it

It’s so heartwarming when rescues and strays bounce back so quickly with their rescuers. It’s can be disheartening when it takes years instead of months to rehabilitate a rescue, but the effort is always worth it even when the growth comes in small increments.
I will never give up Humanity as long as people like this exist . And we have Dodo to bring them into our lives .

He was the litter’s protector, taking care as best he could. What a scrapper ! Hope his new home is just as good as his rescuers.
