Hey guys! If you were looking to participate in any of these online tournaments - the website platform is: play.limitlesstcg.com - Ill probably make a video soon explaining the process, but for now hopefully this link works!
The Exeggutor EX Mew EX Celebi deck in the top 8 has become my new favorite deck. I ran something similar before the release of Mythical Island and this new version pushed it to work my favorite deck pokemon to a new way of playing while keeping the spirit of the deck the same that I enjoyed before. I know it still has some bad matchups, but I am maintaining a 60+% win rate so far on PVP and hope to practice with it in smaller tournaments later this week n preparation for the weekend events,
the serperior line DOES give a big boost in the late game, but adds a lot of Pokémon into your deck making it a little less consistent (: The meta is moving towards faster paced decks!!!
Pikachu will most likely sit at the top now that gyarados has the best match up against Mewtwo. Tier 1 is Pikachu, then below it is gyarados then Mewtwo. I just checked the Pokémon meta page, and its literally what I just said.
I can't decide. I really like the articuno garadose water evee deck. It has the highest win rat for me even better then garados grininja because extra tools such as x speed and leaf combined with water evee allows you to pivit the most powerful stage one pokemon articuno with the most powerful stage 2 garadose.
You have to consider the amount of people playing what deck, pikachu over 300, 2 made top 10 Mewtwo 250+ 2 top 10 Gyarados 280+ 2 top 10 Charizard 84 1 top 10 Celebi 160+. 1 top 10 With those numbers and going all the way to the top 30 charizard has a pretty good winrate taking in consideration only 80 ppl played it vs 250-300 in other decks. Same with celebi
meta monday sounds slick! it’ll be nice having something to look forward to on mondays lol. also i’m pretty new to the game and your channel, and want to say i’m loving your videos! :)
If you watched the finals from ursiidae you'd know pikachu was suppposed to be first 💔. All 3 matches pikachu had advantage. Game 1 and 3 game losing misplays from pikachu. so sad
@@kylemadison1296 no lol. that pikachu just misplayed really badly. if it wasn't for them it would be 2-0 for pika since mewto had terrible starts on ALL 3 matches
Dragonite is just too inconsistent for the payoff -which is also a very inconsistent attack lol It COULD be good in the future - it has a lot going for it, a few good new cards to go a long way for dragonite (: Its not a "meta" deck right now but it certainly can still win games!!!
I see the exeggutor ex list and go “hey I want to play that” pulls the 2nd exegg ex I need with one of my daily packs while watching the video. So now I have to play it, go to build it and I don’t have a single apex baby exeggutor :,). Pain
@@PocketMadsone of the top Zebstrika decks that played this weekend went against 6 Gyarados decks and one Articuno/Greninja deck in the Swiss rounds. I think that’s the main reason Zebstrika is the top Pika deck right now, it just BODIES Drudd/Greninja/Gyarados decks, so if you can win 74% of your matches against the #1 deck, and still put up a respectable winrate against the rest of the Meta, you’re gonna do well. The thing is, Raichu is slightly better in a lot of other match ups, and still has a great winrate against Gyarados (63%). I still think Raichu is better, but I’m not surprised at all the Zeb had higher results in larger tournaments, because there is just more opportunities for lucky match-ups to push more Zebras to the top of the list.
@ yea for sure! Like I said in the video I think pika/zeb is alittle better positioned in the meta right now. I don’t see Gyarados dipping in usage anytime soon.
Nah son, pikachu is the top dog right now. Literally kills Gyarados, and does well against Mewtwo. I'm so glad gyarados outs Mewtwo, now my Pikachu deck can solidify it's place as the top deck.
It really depends on who sets up faster. I beat Pika decks with Mewtwo, Charizard, and Celebi decks regularly. But again, it depends on who sets up faster. The meta is really based on how good your RNG pulls from the deck are, and going second really boosts your odds. Pika decks can avoid the need to set up entirely, since it’s low energy cost, but it also does not have high HP as a deck.
but Pikachu sucks against golem, which is heavily played (don't know why it does not appear in this tournament). Besides, Pikachu ZebStrika suffers greatly during mirror matches (who starts second always wins as you can't really counter much unless you run the raichu+LT Surge combo that can insta kill any top EXs of your opponents).

Jynx is also a great Misty counter, the better the misty flips the more damage jynx will do
I love that!! Sometimes those water Pokémon end up with like 10 energies 😂

Sounds like you found a winner - keep up the good work with that deck!!!
9:39 yes, I run Celebi with EX Exeggutor, AND Serperior. Gives early game and late game options, with a solid set up by mid game no matter what.
the serperior line DOES give a big boost in the late game, but adds a lot of Pokémon into your deck making it a little less consistent (: The meta is moving towards faster paced decks!!!

@ I think a lot of people are trying to counter play Gyarados right now. Tempo water is getting better and better for this meta!
Just wanna ask how I can enter a tournament online with Pokemon TCGP. I'm from the Philippines. Thank you for the answer.
Ill make a video soon detailing the process - but the website to register for the tournaments is linked in my video's description!!!
Just found your channel, loving the content
@@thrillingsun3001 thank you so much! I’m glad you are enjoying!
This is a really good analysis video! Keep it up man, cya next Monday
Stick around for more videos! We upload almost every day on the channel (:

Mewtwo 250+ 2 top 10

Same with celebi
Charizard is under rated right now! Fire decks aren’t bad in the meta both zard and arcanine.
I keep seeing this same primeape list. Why run 1bof each mankey rather than 2 of the same!?
how do you find these tournaments?

LETS GO!!! Thanks so much :D
Hello PocketMads, what's the website you look for the meta update everytime (btw, continue like that ! )
Link in the video description!!!
In a casual random game environment (not a tournament contest), would it be better to remove the red card and replace it with something else?
Red card has its niche value - it depends on the deck! A lot of time, Sabrina/Giovani/Leaf is more worth it IMO.
Meta monday sounds awesome !
Tier list Tuesday anyone? 😁
@@PocketMads Keep up with these w names

aw man that's sad to hear!!! Pikachu is definitely a top tier deck to play in this meta though - I actually like it more than Mewtwo at the moment (:
@@revo5124 yeah, but I won :)
What? If they misplayed then they shouldn't have won lol that's how tournaments work
Is a dragonite deck bad in this meta??
Yes, Dragonite is a very bad card, random damages and he need a deck with 2 differents energy and sometimes u don't drop the energy that u need

@@Feller06 pocket REALLY do be like that 😅😭
I hate gardevoir mew two, idk why it irritates me so much
Pikachu Zebstrika is performing better than Raichu because the former takes zero brain cells to play.
It's easy to pilot, which means fewer misplays.
yea this is definitely a true point. Its also a bit faster pace which bodes will in the current format.
@PocketMads I'm not sure Zebstrika is any faster than the new Electabuzz, but it's definitely faster than Raichu variants.
